NOTICE OF APPROVAL
(Regulation 14(1) of the Building Control Regulations)

PROPOSED INTERIM BUS DEPOT WITH SINGLE STOREY WORKSHOP AND TWO STOREY ANCILLARY
FACILITIES ON LOT (S) 04150M PT & 04238V PT MK31 AT LOYANG AVENUE

The above structural plans are hereby approved subject to the provisions of the Building Control Act and
Regulations, and the following terms and conditions of approval:

a) where there is a provision of civil defence shelter in this development, a separate Notice of Approval of
the shelter structural plans from the Civil Defence Shelter Engineering Department of BCA is required
before the commencement of the shelter structural works; and
b) there is a valid planning permission.

2 Please note that you are required, under section 6 of the Building Control Act, to apply for and obtain the permit to
commence work before carrying out structural works. If a permit has already been issued for this project, there is no need to
apply for the permit again as long as the parties to the permit (i.e. the developer, the qualified persons and the builder) remain
the same.

3 Please take note of the following requirements:

a) where there is a provision of barriers (for safety against falling from height) in this development, Structural Plan
Approval for the barriers is required; and
b) where temporary earth-retaining structures (TERS) are to be used to support the face of an excavation, the
design of TERS have to be submitted for approval under Section 5/5A of the Building Control Act. The TERS
shall be designed by the appropriate qualified persons and accredited checkers, similar to permanent works.
This requirement is not applicable to projects where the first submission of the structural plans (ST01) has been
made before 1 Oct 2008.
