A few batch mates attended 108th anniversary of our beloved Dr
Alagappa Chettiar day on 06 April 2017 at ACCET

During that day, they made a visit to KNH to recollect their past
memories.

KNH is now given for Girls students. Girls shared their hostel life
and mentioned that their wash areas are bad apart from cramped
stay in room .
On visiting KNH wash areas, the team took a decision to steer
through renovation work of Toilets and bath rooms on war
path during the students vacation period of about 30 days in
June 2017.

Pooja done for renovation on 01 June 2017 and completed on

28th June 2017

Some clippings follow on old and current look of KNH wash

KNH was dedicated to Students utility by former CM, late Sri. K.
Kamaraj on 5th February 1955, who was instrumental for the free
education to poor & middle class family children of TN.

A stone with following Mahatmas saying exist at ground floor of KNH:

OM
In the midst of death, life persists
In the midst of untruth, truth persists
In the midst of darkness, light persists
Let all ACCET Students learn to look at the world through Mahatmas
statements.
