Training Target Group

This course has been designed for new Siemens S7 users who wish to build up a profound knowledge of
the SIMATIC S7 and to develop PLC programs using the STEP 7 programming package.

Training (Pre) Knowledge

To join this course a knowledge of programming similar PLC-types and knowledge of digital technology is
advantageous. Knowledge of PCs and Windows is essential.

During this course an overview will be given of the functional capabilities of the Siemens SIMATIC S7 PLC
family and how the PLCs can be structured, programmed, documented, maintained and installed using the
STEP 7 programming package.
