TELEMAC is a modelling system for free surface waters. It has used an

TELEMAC was developed by EDF-LNHE, Paris and is now under the directorship
of a consortium of organisations including EDF-LNHE and HR Wallingford. A kernel
of developers from these organisations carries out the software developments
together with contributions from many universities and other organisations.

Availability Parallel processing

TELEMAC
TELEMAC is available on a free open source Modules can be run in scalar mode and in
basis under a combination of GPL and LGPL parallel mode. Recent testing using the Hector
public licenses. Modules are available for free massively parallel computer installation at the
download from www.opentelemac.org, hosted UK Science and Technologies Facilities Council
by HR Wallingford. The entire source code 'DUHVEXU\/DERUDWRULHVFRQUPHGWKDW7(/(0$&
is managed and controlled at HR Wallingford could be run on thousands of processors,
through the subversion repository accessible and would deliver scalable speed increases
from svn.opentelemac.org/svn/opentelemac. over the whole range of processors used.

Training
Introductory training and expert tuition are
available from HR Wallingford. We have over 18
years experience in the use of TELEMAC and
we are an ongoing developer of the system.
