Game-plan for Release

IB2S Lending Windows Team, :

1. Login to Server
2. HBA Drivers:
3. Go to Start Run type in the following location for the storport driver:
\\altdsaztm01\prod\QLogic\Storport9.1.4.15
4. copy the folder over to E:\temp and using Device Manager under SciSI and Raid
Controllers update Both Qlogic Fibre Channel Adapters drivers.
5. Qlogic Bios
6. The Qlogic BIOS 1.47 for IBM image file is here:

7. \\Mtgbaztm001\f$\Software\QLogicSystemBiosupdates\qlogic_(1-47).IMG

8. At the command prompt run:

9. IBMUTIL /i /f

10. The Qlogic BIOS 1.45 for HP image file is here:

 12. at cmd prompt Run:

13. Hpqutil /i /f
you will most likely see an error on the 2nd HBA port, you can ignore that. just detach IMG file
and restart blade and verify during Qlogic POST,

At the following location you will find the images required for all System Bios Flashes:

Run:
\\Mtgbaztm001\Software\QLogicSystemBiosupdates\HPonline Flash-006595.exe

Comment: Some Quick Notes:

1. Shutdown desired host on blade to be updated.

2. Power OFF desired blade.

3. Open "Remote Control" session

4. Select desired .img file

5. Click "Yes" to upload image

6. Power ON desired blade.

7. Should boot to PC Dos and start menu.

8. Select option to start update and answer any questions (it will prompt for 2nd image file if
applicable).

9. Reboot blade when completed.

10. Verify in Firmware VPD screen that code has changed to desired level; click on "reload VPD"
button if necessary.

2. Qlogic Bios attempt a reflash, , reinstall the previous version
3. System Bios attempt a reflash, if you still have problems use the previous version.
