Title : DMI (Data Management Inbox)
Client : UBS IB (Union Bank of Switzerland)

Hibernate 3.0, Oracle 9i
Duration : Dec 2008 March 2012 (3 Year 3 Months)
Role : Senior Software Engineer

About the Project:

DMI is an internal application used by the UBS - IB; it is one of the main applications used in
RKYC (Really Know Your Customer). Basically this application used to create the requests
raised by the users (Ex: address change for particular account). Different types of request
created by DMI Application are as fallows.

Manual Requests:

Manager creates the requests based on the data received by mails to the shared mail inbox and
assign the request to fulfiller (who resolves the request). Fulfiller fulfill the request based on the
data attached for the request.

Automated Requests:
AW (Account Workflow) is one of the old applications of UBS used to create the new accounts
for the existed users based on users request. These requests will be created in DMI
automatically for every 15 minutes and auto assigned to fulfillers.

RCT (Request Capture Tool) Requests:

Requestor can directly create the request with help of standard templates, these requests
will be auto assigned to the fulfillers. All managers can create these requests on behalf of
requestor.

Phase #4 (Team Size: 5):

The CDC Cross Border Outsourcing Residual Risk Remediation approach is an initiative to
ensure controlled and appropriate access to CID (Client Identification) by third party cross
border outsourced service providers. Access to CID will be in accordance to defined regulatory
requirements and business risk appetite. The approach is centered on encoding "flags" into
reference data defining regulatory and business risk appetite restrictions on access to CID
cross border outsourced service providers. Systems consuming the reference data will base
access control decisions on those "flags". "Flags" will be automatically populated onto clients and
accounts based on their contracting entities that those clients and accounts are associated with.
Where multiple contracting entities are associated with the same account then the most restrictive
contracting entity will be used to set the "flag".

Responsibilities:

o Involved in gathering and preparing design document.
