Available student workstations for the following tasks:
Measuring apparatus (slide-callipers, micrometer, dial gauge, indicating snap gauge) recording of error curve
Capability and R&R testing of measuring apparatus
Sequence measurements and statistical evaluation
Testing of the bore with plug-gauge, measurement of plug-gauge with indicating snap gauge
Measurement of snap gauge with length measuring machine
Measurement of the outer cone with mechanical angle meter, measuring pin and sine vice
Measuring screw (screw pitch gauges, screw micrometer, measuring pin)
Optical co-ordinate measurement (microscope, projector)
Measuring roughness
Form and position accuracy and measuring of runout (surface plate and bench centre)
