Please describe your specific experiences and skills, including the leadership qualities that you possess,
that are most relevant to the coordinator positions you are applying for.
As a member of the UC Rally Committee, I act as a representative of UC Berkeley at sporting, alumni, and
spirit events by encompassing the ideals of the university, which are school spirit, unity, and tradition. Also,
with this committee, the other members and I are integral parts in the planning and execution of these special
events, such as the Bonfire Rally, Charter Week Challenge, and more. I am in the publicity subcommittee for
UCRC as well as the Publicity Chair for the Residence Hall Association; these publicity experiences help me
successfully advertise events by posting on social media, passing out flyers, and making posters. In addition to
UCRC, CASA, and the Residence Hall Association, I am also part of the American Institute of Chemical
Engineers and the Food Science and Technology club. With these many connections, I will be able to reach
out to various groups of students. Although I am involved with several organizations, only Rally Committee
and Hall Association meets every week, and therefore, my involvements are not too time-consuming. In high
school, I was a commissioner of public relations for Leos Club and American Cancer Society, both community
service organizations, in which, I worked as a liaison between the schools student council and the clubs to
make sure we were informed of the events sponsored by the school as well as to make sure the club events
were up to protocol and being publicized throughout the school. As a secretary for Leos club, I had to be very
observant and take notes of the flaws and strengths of the club to make sure members were satisfied and the
executive board was doing as much as possible to ensure that everyone has a good time.
