My view on Colombia

Colombians are funny, extroverted and optimistic people. We always find

the good side of everything, even if is a good moment we will keep a smile
in our face.

We have lots of festivities in every month of the year, for example people
in Medellin celebrate Flowers Fair where you can see many flowers
arrangements made by farmers from Antioquia. But in other places like
Barranquilla people dance and party all day because of the Joselito death
in the Barranquillas Carnival. And in Bogot, we celebrate every two years
the Iberoamerican Theater Festival and every year we go and rock all day
in the Rock al Parque Festival.

For every party and celebration Colombian people use different types of
clothes. In the north of Colombia people use to wear light clothes such as
sandals, t-shirts, shorts, gaps and sunglasses. In the center of Colombia in
places like Bogota and Tunja, people use to wear more clothes such as
jackets, sweaters, pants, rubber boats and umbrellas.

One of our most favorite sports is soccer and biking. Most of Colombia
shows their proudness wearing official soccer team shirts and sharing with
other during the soccer matches. We almost forget about our problems
and have a relaxing and happy time with our friends. We love watch our
bikers in different conquests such as Tour de France, Giro de Italia and
Vuelta a Espaa where they demonstrate how good they are beating
other bikers and helping each other when they are in need.

If you are in another country you can easily identify a Colombia, we are
proud of being Colombians and we show our proud to others in the whole
world Also Colombians in other countries always wear their soccer team
shirt and typical hats as the Vueltiao Hat; we also wear typical jewelry as
bracelets, rings and collars.

The next time you meet a person from Colombia, please, just dont see
our problems, we are happier and better than our problems. We always
can have a little chat with you, help you and give you a nice time with us.
