Definition:
A “Ball” is the spherically shaped member with a neck and seat. The seat rests upon a hitch platform. A threaded
portion of the ball shank extends through the hitch platform and is fastened to it with a lock washer and nut so

Weight Distribution & Sway Control

Weight distribution kits are recommended for vehicles towing weights in excess of 5,000 lbs. Weight Distribution removes
excess weight from rear axle of the tow vehicle (fig. 1) and distributes it over all axles of the vehicle and trailer (fig. 2).
Weight Distribution provides level load, better braking and handling, less strain on vehicle and greater towing capacity.
