Vibrators

NovaSeis uses the latest Sercel Nomad 65 Vibrators as the energy source to improve
the data quality (focused signal strength). This saves both time and cost having fewer
sweeps and less time for each source point.

The newest Nomad vibrators supplied with Caterpillar 15 engine have state of the
art Quality Controlled (QC) techniques. These Nomads are the highest Mass/Base
plate ratio in the 60,000+lbs category and operate in all terrain conditions.

Each individual Vibrator is equipped with the latest DGSP (HD+) system
providing accurate positioning of the source energy. The units are also
guided by infield computer GIS mapping display enabling complete
control of the movement around any no-go or sensitive areas.

Recording system
Cable-free Technology.
The latest wireless OYO Geospace Seismic Recorder
(GSR/GSX) system.
GSR is the unique system for high-quality, precision to
capture 2D, 3D, and 4D seismic data in a variety of envi-
ronments and terrains in order to attain high production
rates and deliver premier image results.
Cable-free acquisition technology provides access in ar-
eas where cable-based systems are extremely difficult or
unworkable.
System specification in brief:
unlimited channel capabilities designed for autono-
mous seismic data recording
each GSR unit includes 1 channel of 24-bit digitiza-
tion and is capable of up to 30 days of continuous re-
cording with standard 2ms sample rate, and a high-
speed data port for data downloading. The units are
kept in a sealed case, with input connector, extend-
ed life battery connector/data port connector
each GSR unit has in-built GPS receiver and a disci-
pline clock correction
the line equipment is checked daily (quality control)
via handheld Trimble Yuma units, which wirelessly
acquires and downloads the tests. Anything outside
limitation threshold is indicated and rectified
compatible with explosive, vibratory and impulsive
energy sources
Our recent recording operations proved that acquisi-
tion rates are greatly improved comparing to traditional
methods. This maximizes our exploration budgets whilst
keeping high quality of data best practice.
NovaSeis is equipped with the latest cableless
recording system, which enables us to:

Field processing

QC system is capable to provide the best quality data management, prior to delivery to any processing center.

Management of the recording data system is achieved through several OYO Geospace propriety software modules,
which is reliable for the standard Seg-D recording output that combines raw field data on the individual GSR boxes.

Each field record is quality checked and controlled by accurate GPS clock and DGPS source and receivers position
are cross-referenced to accurate surveyed locations.

The field processing system use Omni 3D seismic survey designing software and GEDCO Vista 2D-3D Seismic Pro-
cessing software and for any kind of in-field processing request.

NovaSeis has a purpose built processing, downloading, and battery-charging containers for ease of equipment
transportation and data transfer.
Surveying

NovaSeis has created a complete Geodetic Department in-

corporating all aspects of surveying,mapping and spatial
analysis.

Our Survey/Recording Department is equipped, but not lim-

ited to, with the following hardware and software:

Trimble dual-frequency GPS GLNSS receivers capable

of working in all survey modes (RTK, DGPS, Kinematic,
Static, GSM NTrip)

Novatel ProPak V3 DGPS receivers utilizing OmniStar
network
Trimble M3 Total Station
Field Tablets (Trimble Yuma, Tablets, Toughbooks)
ESRI GIS software including ArcMap and ArcPad
GPSeismic suite of data processing applications

All field departments/vehicles are incorporated with

Geographical Information Systems (GIS) mapping
technology updated daily by the surveying team.

This includes all geographical representation of the

surface terrain along with any detailed explana-
tions and/or contact information that affects any
given survey.

The whole acquisition procedure now becomes

more simplified and accountable for the Client.
GIS and Land Access

NovaSeis incorporates Geographical Information Systems (GIS) into

all of our field departmental operations.

Working in various terrains and conditions NovaSeis has successfully

managed several political and/or sensitive access issues with Seismic Ex-
ploration.

Respecting Client requirements and local landholders concerns with field

operations, NovaSeis utilizes GIS technology in all our field vehicles.

The IMS allows to provide NovaSeis with the requirements, guidelines, specifications
or characteristics that are required to ensure the fitness for purpose of processes,

Health and Safety Management System (HSE-MS)

To establish and maintain best practice of HSE culture throughout NovaSeis, we
have implemented and compiled a Health and Safety Management System (HSE-
MS) in accordance with Oil and Gas Producers (OGP) guidelines. The HSE-MS is con-
tinuously improved by conformance checks.

The Manual of NovaSeis HSE Management System comprises of seven inter-

correlated components:
