    EXPERIMENT SPECIFIC GRAVITY AND ABSORPTION OF FINE AGGREGATE

    Objectives: To determine the bilk specify gravity, apparent gravity and absorption of fine
    aggregate.

    DEFINITION:
    Refer to Test AGG-1

    Apparatus: Balance, pycnometer (or volumetric flask of 500cm3 capacity or fruit jar fitted with
    a pycnometer top), oven.

    SAMPLE: About 500 g of fine aggregate sample
