DESIGN CONCEPT STATEMENT

The fitness center will be a place of energy and confidence.

The space will need to be accessible and applicable to all
ages. Neutral colors with bold accents will evoke a sense of
alertness in the space. Comfortable, yet sophisticated
furniture will garnish the space to create an inviting
environment for all walks of life. The space will contain a
juice bar that will be a comfortable space to sit as well as
use colors that promote thirst-quenching drinks. The locker
rooms and rest rooms will be designed with materials rated
for high-moisture use. The whole space will be modern with
clean lines and simplistic dcor.

MAINTENANCE OF FINISHES

Benjamin Moore Paint The SCUFF-X paint is designed to be low-marking for high traffic
areas. It also is resistant to moisture and other things. Maintenance of the paint is simple. It
can withstand wash after wash and will not fade. If any touch-ups are needed, the paint is
design to not show for a finish that is not splotchy.

Versa Wallcovering These coverings are textile-based and should be cleaned accordingly.
Do not use bleach or other strong cleaners. Soap and water and a light scrub brush or cloth
is all that is needed.

Stone Source These stones are natural and should be cared for as such. They have a porous
surface which can stain if not cared for. Do not use lemon products and wipe dry after
cleaning.

Rubber Flooring Consistent vacuuming and occasional damp-mopping help keep these
rubber floors in their prime.

Moduleo Moduleo provides products that keep their floors refreshed and looking sharp.
Its easy to apply and do not have to happen often. Janitorial staff could do it weekly.

Stone Source These stones are natural and should be cared for as such. They have a porous
surface which can stain if not cared for. Do not use lemon products and wipe dry after
cleaning.

Carpet Tiles Spot clean. Vacuum daily and replace tiles as needed.
MAINTENANCE OF FINISHES (CONT.)

Stone Veneer (3Form) maintenance is very low, but it should be kept clean on a daily basis
to avoid loosing the effect.

Glass (3Form) Regular glass-cleaning products can be used to clean this surface. All details
are pressed within the glass so there is no risk of it wiping off.

Island Timber Dusting or vacuuming the product should be a monthly occurrence. While
these can be used near water, the product should be kept dry throughout the day to avoid
warping. Excessive moisture can damage the product.

Metal Wall-covering Installation is best in a non-moist room (no bathrooms). It does not
take much maintenance to keep clean, but a decent shining may not hurt every so often.

Quartz Maintenance is little to none. This surface is durable and wears hard. Just keep it
clean and it will looks beautiful.

Stainless Steel Stainless steel needs to be polished occasionally to look nice. Otherwise it
develops a film on the top. Keep clean daily using a damp cloth or cleaner.

Baseboard Paint touch up will be needed frequently.
