INTRODUCTION

My name is Mashele Innocent Dolly, I was born in 1997/12/09 at Matikwane


hospital in a small township called mkhuhlu in Mpumalanga. Im a first born, I
have two siblings a boy and a girl. Im from Mpumalanga (matsikitsane) but Im
currently staying at Witbank.
I started schooling at funjwa lower primary school in 2003. I studied at funjwa
lower primary school from grade R to grade 4 then I went to Ndabeni Higher
primary school to do my grade 5 to 7.
In 2011 I went to Shobiyane secondary school were I did my grade 8 to 9 then
I moved to Lekete secondary school because of distance. I did my grade 10
only then went back to Shobiyane secondary school because I wasnt
comfortable at lekete. I completed my Matric at Shobiyane secondary school in
2016.
Im a good girl, my best friend is Tebogo Chiloane. I love making new friends
and Im forever smiling. I love singing and playing Netball. I love going to
church. I am currently studying at Tshwane University of technology doing
Education in FET.

Grade 12 or Matric Certificate (completed in 2016)
Languages: English, Xitsonga and Siswati
VOLUNTEE
Volunteered to look after children in a day centre.
To help learners during winter school where I did my teaching practice.
Love life (to teach teenagers how to take care of themselves)
To help the Church with cleaning.

TEACHING AND LEARNING

I believe that teaching can take place anywhere, anytime. Every child has
the right to education and he or she can learn anywhere, it doesnt
matter whether theres a building or not as long as theres a teacher.
Every child has their own way of learning and they have rights to share
their ideas.

REASONS WHY I CHOOSE TO BE A TEACHER AND WHY I CHOOSE FET

Being a teacher was always in my heart ever since I was young. When
growing I saw how teachers teach and how they treat learners good and
bad. I loved the way other teachers teach and I always told myself that
one day I will be like them. I choose FET cause i know that I can handle
learners from grade 10 to 12 and I think that they are more mature I will
not have to run after them

THOSE WHO MENTORED ME TO BE A TEACHER

A young lady named Thabile mentored me to become a teacher. She


taught me English in grade 11, she was always there for me guiding me
and supporting, telling me what to do to meet the requirements of being
a teacher. The other person who mentored me is my Maths literacy
teacher who made me realize how much I love maths lit and that I would
be able to teacher it.

TEACHING PRACTICE EXPERIENCE

Teaching practice helped me a lot, I was shy to stand in front of a crowd


but now Im no longer scared and shy. Teaching practice made me feel
that I am indeed a teacher. I gained more experience I now know how to
handle learner, if it wasnt of teaching practice I wouldnt know how to.

It made me see that indeed learners have their own way of learning and
how to behave. Im now able to accommodate learners behaviour and
their beliefs and not to judge them.

COMMUNITY

I grew up in a very rich community where there was too much crime
because many peoples were not working and most of them were rich.
Most of them were working very well and they didnt rely to anyone.
Each and every child had to play under their parents roof.

CONCLUSION

I would like to thank everyone who supported me


I would like to thank my mom for supporting me even when shes no
more
I would like to thank everyone who believed in me and who believed
that my dreams wound come through
I would like to thank my entire former teacher who encouraged me and
believed in me and I would like to thank all my Lecturers.
