Directions for Surreal Collage Room Design

1. -First brainstorm about ideas for your surreal room idea. What kind of ideas or images do you want in
your room? How will you make it bizarre and what juxtapositions will you add? Start looking for
images in magazines or print from the internet. Bring in at least 5 images.
2. Sketch out a practice rough draft in sketchbook showing your layout of furniture (at least 4 items),
room design, and pictures. Where will you put your pictures? Make sure they flow with your overall
design.
3. Once you have a rough uncolored draft in your sketchbook, get a piece of final paper and add a 2 inch
border to it. Begin drawing final piece.
