2016 NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION

NARRATIVE REPORT

First 1000 Days ni Baby Pahalagahan para sa Malusog na Kinabukasan was

the theme of this years nutrition month celebration. Various activities were done .

On July 13, 2016, there were slogan making and poster making contests in
Grade 7 to 10. It was headed by Sir Democrito M. Jasa, and the judges were Sir
Agripino Blanca, Sir Jonathan Christopher V. Maranan and Sir Sherwin R. Reyes. The
winners for slogan making were Jennycel Gonzales, first placer; ShereenBunyag,
second placer; and Ruzzel Kim Panaligan, third placer. For poster making which was a
group contest, the first place winners were Joshua Francisco Boquiren and Daniel
Gunio; the second placers, Marjorie Ubaldo and Renz Lucernas and the third placers ,
Adrian Garcia and Jeybie Oblino .

Last July 14, the students of Grade 9 and 10 brought vegetables and had their
cooking activities in which the foods were served to their schoolmate. ginisang
munggo and bulanglang were the menu.

Eliminations for nutrijingle was done last July 18 to 21, and it was done by Grade
level. These were headed by Maam Rodelyn Marasigan and Maam Mylene Binondo
with support staff Maam Cecille Adaya, Sir Obet Hernandez , Maam Zenaida Adan
and Maam Juliet Abela. The judges for Grades 7 and 8 were Maam Mylene Binondo,
Maam Zenaida Adan and Maam Rodelyn Marasigan, The winners were the following:
for Grade 7, it was Sampaguita with adviser Mrs. Argere Malabanan and for Grade 8 it
was Rizal, with adviser Mrs. Rhona Biscocho. The judges for Grades 9 and 10 were Sir
Agripino Blanca, Maam Julieta Del Mundo and Maam Zenaida Adan. There was a tie
in Grades 9 and 10, namely: Section Narra, adviser, Maam Rita Magundayao and
Section Molave, adviser, Maam Aileen Sevalla; Masikap and Mapagmahal, the
advisers were Sir Rommel Rosita and Maam Rosalie Liwanag. The over-all champion
was Grade 8, adviser, Rhona Biscocho. It was held on July 29, 2016.

Culminating activities were held last July 29. These included: Presentation of
Output of Slogan and Poster Making, Food Display and the Final Contest in Nutrijingle
by grade level.

The celebration was held successfully, fruitfully and meaningfully.
