I
f you have decided to live
healthily and started to consume
nutritious organic food, then
you probably should know
where your food actually came
from. As a healthy food enthusiast
myself, I often wonder, Are these
foods really organic? How does a
farmer run an organic eld? while
indulging in my home cooking.
So I was really excited when I
came across the Kul Kul Farm on
the internet, and without a second
thought, I paid the farm a visit on a
ne Monday.
Located right next to Green
School Bali in Ubud, Kul Kul Farm
embraces a permaculture design
system in farming. Permaculture is
a system of agricultural and social
design that centers on simulating
or directly utilizing the patterns
and features observed in natural
ecosystem. But a visit to Kul Kul Farm
gives so much more knowledge as
we can see rsthand how a real

My father and I actually dug it all by ourselves using

The road is mostly soil with some layers of gravel

After all is clear, each rider wears a helmet and their
three point seatbelts are fastened. Then, theres nothing
else left than to hit the ignition button and the gas pedal.
Surprisingly, the buggies are not blaring as loud as I
thought they would be. The sound of the engine was
more of a medium roar, resembling a prowling predator.
The petrol-fueled engine gave a good thrust as soon
as I hit the gas pedal on full throttle. The ride was super
fun as I went through the dense tropical forest, waved to
the local villagers, and saw an old man feeding his cows
while roosters were roaming around the road. But the
most fun was when I spin the wheel and drifted on soft
gravel, blasting dirt to the buggy behind me.
