SALIENT POINTS
India needs to address five important issues Education, Corruption Free
Governance, Agriculture, Equality and Healthcare
India is a unification of diverse cultures. There can be and should be no common
education system
As a country, we need a robust security set up. Our military strength should be the
best
We need to build upon peace with our neighbouring countries. I do not mean
compromise on military strength by saying this
Education should be a state subject. Let the states decide on the surplus and
excesses. No national regard can be maintained
If we dont take immediate steps for agriculture, then we will be doomed as
individuals and as nations
Providing stringer punishments for corruption can help bring down corruption
Taking out Corruption will be a long process. But we need a head start
We need to have a scheme for developing sports persons. As a nation, we have miles
to go in the area of sports
All health institutions need to be managed by Government. Privatisation of health
care has more banes than boons
Government should take care of both education and health care. But not the way we
are used to. There should be a separate army like team in both these areas that offer
only the best to citizens
India needs to preserve its rich natural resources. It is now or never
Taking Sepoy Mutiny as the first official struggle, it took us 90 years to achieve
independence. Will it take another 90 for being a developed country?
The goal of any nation should be to create happiness and not wealth for its citizens

FEEDBACK GIVEN BY OUR ROTARACTORS
Warm Rotaract greetings

The IDYE trip to Coimbatore was full of fun and enjoyment.Everything was just
perfect....everything is still fresh, nothing has faded away...in all these the event which left
the great impact on our minds and soul was ROTAMIND. Yes the event where all the
powerful minds of the district gathered to discuss about the extremely hot and debatable
topic "how far India has come after 70 years of independence"...the issue every Indian need
to think and react over...speaking about my personal experience.. At first sitting over there I
had no idea what we are up for, everyone seemed so serious but as soon as it started such a
strong and enthusiastic voice of Rtn Pon.Rathnavel banged that we were bounded from the
very first moment, and after that what happened gave me sort of goose bumps. Surrounded
by such sorted and strong mindsets ,neither of us was able to stop ourselves to express
ourselves too...there was a ocean of thoughts and viewpoints...every single person at the
rotary house was having his/her own view point and each point itself had a lot to debate
over...the thought behind the ROTAMIND to bring all the Rotaractors from the district
under a single roof to exchange thoughts/viewpoints is really appreciable as the youths are
the future of country and for the country's future to be secured youth need to have fire in
their soul and sortedness in their mind which could be felt there...every single person was so
eager to speak ...the positivity and the zeal was at it peaks. I was so happy that I got the
opportunity to be a part of something good...believesme; I really feel such an event should be
the part of Annual Calendar of every district. I on the behalf of my whole team congratulate
RID 3201 for upholding such an event with a huge success.

Coimbatore is having really good orators and rhetorician who will act as torch bearers of
tomorrow.I wish all of them ALL THE BEST!!!!
Keep Going...bright future is waiting for you alll...

Hello Rotaractors,

The August Session of Rotamind was a complete light on the 70 years of Independent India,
where we are, what we have done, what we are doing and a whole lot of eye opening session
it was, various heads were covered agriculture, education, corruption and so on. We never
come to a conclusion we just discuss in Rotamind. Amazingly hosted by Rtn.PonRathinavel
and Rtr.PP.GowthamKarthick, with the wonderful Rotaractors discussing about the 70 years
of Independent India it was a splendid. Waiting for more such Informative and
knowledgeable Rotamind Sessions in the coming future.

Held on the backdrop of four days continuous holidays, it was only natural that we had a
late start to ROTAMIND. Though we had the delay, the relay of thoughts flow through like
water released from a dam. I was happy to see the enthusiastic participation of IDYE team
from Chandigarh. I think they should have had a good experience understanding our thought
processes. In my personal view with more quantity and quality added to this ROTAMIND, it
should become a phenomenon. Best Wishes
