2009-to date. Consultant at RHI refractories. Process Modeling and Simulations of the
Continuous Casting of Steel. Flow control and design of refractory devices applied to
continuous casting. Enterprise HQ is located in Vienna Austria. Developed projects for
steelmaking and continuous casting companies, most of them located in the US, Can-
ada, Mexico and Brazil.

1996-2008. Consultant at FOSECO Inc. Process Modeling and Simulations of Contin-

uous casting of Steel. Flow control and design of refractory devices applied to contin-
uous casting. Enterprise venue is in Cleveland OH. Explored and aided in the devel-
opment of flow control devices and nozzles design (SEN) for ladles and slab mold
systems. While working with FOSECO, several projects were developed for compa-
nies located at US, Canada, Mexico, Germany and Brazil.

1998-2006. Consultant at Rassini Reem Inc. Developed heat treatment processes of

steel for this company specialized in automotive springs and car suspension systems.

1992-1993 (Sabbatical Period). Process Engineer at the melt BOF-Shop of SCARTSA,

located in Lazaro Cardenas, Michoacn (currently Arcelor Mittal Steel). Developed
Process Technology for the operation of BOF converters, control of slag slopping,
minimization of re-blows, oxygen control in steel, steel tapping practices and steel de-
oxidation.

1984-1991. Consultant at HyLSA Puebla Plant (currently TERNIUM Group, Puebla).
