Being designed as a purely diplomatic vessel, the ship has no weaponry, but does have 9 escape pods. The Hyperspace
Transciever that is used on these ships dominates the aft section of the fuselage, and is capable of transmitting and
receiving signals from other ships or ground-based installations, in thousands of codes recognized by the Old Republic.
As the Clone Wars began to drag on, many of these cruisers were refitted with laser turrets to ensure their Passengers
could safely travel across the galaxy.

Notes: The Starspeeder-3000 is a small freighter used by many transport companies throughout the galaxy, mainly for
passenger transport. Some transporters don't like it due to its odd shape, resembling a long box. This is merely an
aesthetics question because it could be a pretty good ship for trading. It has a better than average hyperdrive which
gives it a head start over other vessels with a similar purpose. It excels even at sublight speeds and it can go toe to toe
with any fighter when it comes to maneuverability. Also, cargo space should be enough for a small scale independent
captain. On the other hand, it is poorly armoured and has fairly weak shields, making it vulnerable to attacks, so it is
not meant to be used in the more dangerous systems. So, although it could be used as a trading ship, the Starspeeder-
3000 is really designed for routine safe journeys, such as passengers traveling between two systems or tourism. It
doesn't even need a pilot. With the optional aid of an astromech droid who fits in its own socket on top of the ship, it
can be piloted by the dependable RX droid. The production companies responsible for the RX-series gave the older but
proven RX an overhaul to fit snuggly in the cockpit, leaving as much room as possible for the passengers. Its personality
makes sure they have an enjoyable time but when it comes to flying, the RX means serious business. Models adapted
especially for passenger transport have features such as seats with extra padding and incorporated holo-viewers so
they can watch the latest shows or follow up on the stockmarkets. There is even a basic dispenser of food and
beverages suiting the taste of the majority of sentients but it is not designed for the more demanding passengers.
Although comfortable, the Starspeeder-3000 lacks the luxury or the streamlines of other ships.

The Marauder-class corvette was a 195-meter-long light capital ship introduced prior to the Clone Wars. Marauder-class
corvettes were equipped with eight double turbolasers and three tractor beam projectors, and could optionally support
four more turbolasers if a larger power generator was installed. They had space for 12 starfighters, and capacity for 80
troops for use in boarding actions or planetary landings. Their very accurate tractor beams allowed them to capture
ships with little collateral damage, and they were sometimes paired with ships equipped with gravity well projectors
for this purpose. Some Marauderclass ships were equipped with four concussion missile launchers in place of their
heavy turbolasers. Sometimes called a "pocket cruiser," the Marauder's sublight speed was faster than a Victory I-class
Star Destroyer. Although not powerful enough for engagements against warships such as those used by the Imperial
Navy, they were excellent as patrol and interdiction vessels.

YT-1150 Medium Transport
This early model of transport from Corellian Engineering Corporation varies greatly in design from the
general concept of the later ships in the YT series of transports. Slender and long, this ship looks like a
loaf of bread sliced lengthwise along each side; essentially, a long, slender center section with two engine
nacelles on either side providing thrust. The ship saw a good amount of use during the days of the Old
Republic, as like most CEC designs it was easily modified. Almost nothing in the ship's design, save for a
few core systems, was unalterable, and smugglers, pirates, merchants, and other spacefaring
entrepreneurs took advantage of this and turned their ships into a personalized transport that suited their
needs perfectly.

The axial superlaser can charge 10% in one minute. It can either
discharge this damage - 3d10x(100/minute), or continue to charge. In it's
stage of operation as seen in Dark Horse Comics: Dark Empire series,
it can not charge above 80%. It can also discharge a maximum of
110% in a 24 hour period in it's current state. When completed it is
expected to function at 125% damage output, and be capable of
destroying 600% total daily output. RANGE: Point Blank 0-10,
Short 11-30, Medium 31-60, Long 61-100; Starship scale squares.
Against all targets smaller than Colossal every weapon of the Eclipse is at -20 penalty to attack.
