Our hallmark Arts Institute program, Broadway Bound, enriches the lives of
students through the performing arts. Led by industry professionals, students ro-
tate through classes in acting, dance, and voice, as well as group rehearsals. This
class is as much about teaching life skills including self-confidence and public
speaking, as it is performing arts driven. The classes culminate in an end-of-
semester presentation of several songs from different eras of musical theatre on November 21 at 5:30p.m.

SPOTLIGHT ON YOUNG PERFORMERS Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA (Audition Only)

This class is designed for students who wish to focus more specifically on a
higher level of dramatic studies after completing our signature Broadway
Bound program. Students are guided through the rehearsal process, putting
together a production, and working as an ensemble. The class culminates in
public performances on November 10, 11, and 12.

BROADWAY LEGENDS: MUSICAL THEATRE (MY FAIR LADY)

Students 50 and older have the joy of performing without the added pressure
of memorization or complex staging. Learn the score to this classic musical,
including Get Me to the Church On Time, On the Street Where You Live, The Ascot Gavotte, Wouldn't
It Be Loverly, and more! The semester concludes with a public performance on November 22 at 11:00a.m.

ACTING THE CLASSICS (NEW FORMAT!)

Join us for this new exploration into theatres classic plays with playwrights Sam Shepherd, August Wilson,
Arthur Miller, Henrik Ibsen, and Tennessee Williams. Clear Space strives to bring you quality theatre
while educating, and the next step in this process is diving into classic playwrights and their works. Each
two weeks we will concentrate on one author: The first week will focus on discussion and exercises revolv-
ing around the author, while the second week will be focused on a scene or monologue you will be assigned
by the instructor. Jann Ellis and Shannon Parks are Actors Equity Association actors who bring over 50
years of professional experience. Come and create authentic characters and moments!
