making new clothes for Troy.
3. Pupils make new clothes for Troy.
4. Teacher asks the pupils to carry out a show and tell activity
using structure on activity book(pg68)
5. Individual work

LEARNING OBJECTIVE: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
1. Listen and respond to environment sounds.
2. Listen to say aloud and recite rhymes of sings songs.
3. Talk about a stimulus with guidance.
ACTIVITIES: 1. Teacher asks the pupils to recite the poem from the text book.
2. Teacher asks the pupils to talk about the poem and discuss the
picture.
3. Teacher asks the pupils to listen to the sounds of animals and name
them correctly.
4. Pupils name the animals in the picture and respond using the
structures.
5. Pupils also draw attention to the sounds of these animals make and the
special names of young animals.
6. Teacher concludes the lesson by instilling moral values.

1. recognize and articulate initial, medial and final sounds in single
syllable words.
2. ue and aw sounds.
3. blend phonemes into recognizable and read them aloud.
4. 3. segment words into phonemes to spell.
ACTIVITIES: 1. Teacher introduces the phonemes/u:/ for ue and /):/ for aw
2. Teacher divides the pupils into group and asks them to join the sound
to form a word.
3. Pupils then blend the words correctly.
4. Teacher shows word cards and ask the pupils to read and segment
the words.
5. Teacher also asks the pupils to spell the words and read them
correctly.
6. e.g : blue, clue, jaw, lawn, etc
7. Pupils write the words in their writing book.
