Expectations :
By the end of Cycle 1 your child will be able to:
understand short written or oral texts related to familiar subjects;
find and understand explicit information in texts, which allows him/her to do a required
task;
produce very short texts of one or two sentences, while respecting the communication
intent and the subject;
speak French in familiar situations in order to express most of his or her class-related needs
and personal needs;
Adapt his/her interventions to the situation.
