1. NUIST Excellent Freshmen Scholarship for International Students in

China, 2017

Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology (NUIST) is delighted to announce Excellent
Freshmen Scholarship to pursue undergraduate, masters and doctoral degree programs.
International (Non-Chinese) students are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue undergraduate, masters and doctoral degree
programs.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in any of the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarship can be taken in China

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the
scholarship:

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health and friendly to China.

Applicants must abide by the laws and decrees of the Chinese government, school rules and
regulations, and meet the requirements of admission to NUIST.
Applicants must have a good learning attitude and a good academic record.
Applicants for undergraduate programs must have a senior high school diploma with a good
academic performance and be under the age of 25. Applicants for the masters degree
program must have a bachelors degree and be under the age of 35. Applicants for the
doctoral degree program must have a masters degree and be under the age of 40.
Applicants cannot be recipients of other scholarships offered by Chinese government, local
governments or other organizations simultaneously.

Nationality: International (Non-Chinese) students are eligible to apply for this scholarship
programme.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: Applicants for undergraduate programs must have a senior high school
diploma with a good academic performance and be under the age of 25. Applicants for the masters
degree program must have a bachelors degree and be under the age of 35. Applicants for the
doctoral degree program must have a masters degree and be under the age of 40.

English Language Requirements: For English-taught programs: Applicants from non-English speaking
countries shall present the copy of English proficiency certificate, such as TOEFL 80 or above/ IELTS 6
or above, or other official English proficiency certificates acceptable. The copy of TOEFL or IELTS
Certificate (only for applicants from non-English speaking countries who apply for English-taught
programs).

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following area for the scholarship:

All courses are taught in Chinese. The applicants should have sufficient Chinese proficiency
(HSK level 4 or above), or other evidence which indicates your Chinese proficiency is
adequate.
The scholarship supports students who have no HSK scores, in which case they should take
Chinese language training courses for one year before moving on to their degree study.

3. Global Challenges Scholarship for International Students at Lincoln

University in New Zealand, 2017

Lincoln University is inviting applications for Global Challenges Scholarship for international
students. The scholarship is available to pursue an undergraduate degree programme.

Applicants must have a very good grasp of English, with an overall score of 6 in IELTS (or similar
qualification), as the scholarship development programme has a strong focus on communication and
co-operative work.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for an undergraduate degree programme at Lincoln University.

Study Subject: Scholarship is offered in diverse fields to help students in upgrading their education.

Scholarship Award: The University will pay $12,000 (NZD) towards one year of tuition fees.

Eligibility: To be eligible for a Global Challenges Scholarship as an international student, applicants

Have completed secondary school in the past five years, achieved well academically and not

4. CGI Postgraduate Scholarship Program for International Students in

Thailand, 2018

The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) is offering postgraduate scholarship program for
international students. Up to ten scholarships are available for applicants who are interested to
pursue a master degree in Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental Health, Environmental
Toxicology and Chemical Biology.

Applicants must have demonstrated English proficiency, preferably on one of two recognized test of

Scholarships are open to the eligible applicants who is under 30 years of age and hold a Bachelor
Degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 in one of the following fields:
Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics,
Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences.
Medical Sciences: Medicine, Medical Technology, Nursing, Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical

7. HWK Fellowships for International Students in Germany, 2017

The Hanse - Wissenschafts kolleg (HWK) is offering fellowships to highly qualified scientists of all
