The Loeries encompass all areas of brand communication in Africa and the Middle East and is considered by many to
be the creative Mecca of the brand communication community.
The Expo takes place alongside the awards weekend and serves as the culmination of Creative Week that runs in the
week leading up to the Loeries.
Creative Week Cape Town started as a legacy event for Cape Towns World Design Capital 2014 bid. The Loeries Crea-
tive Week Expo aims to put this creativity and innovation on display by inviting a limited twenty influential companies to
this premium exhibition space.
WHY EXHIBIT?
Exhibitors will not only gain exposure to South Africas brand communication community, including thousands of indus-
try movers and shakers, but also the international delegates attending the Loeries Seminar as well as over 4,000 award
ceremony guests who will be registering at City Hall. By exhibiting, companies will automatically be part of the biggest
brand communication event of the year, and be able to network with South Africas top brands and decision makers.
The Loeries International Seminar of Creativity, Registration and Student Portfolio Day will all take place at City Hall dur-
ing the Expo, guaranteeing a footfall of thousands of industry delegates.

THE LOERIES & CREATIVE WEEK EXPO
www.loeries.com
THE BACKGROUND
The Loeries were first held in 1978, as a mechanism to support and grow television advertising. Since then the awards have
expanded to encompass every area of brand communication including radio and print, design, architecture, direct
marketing, non-broadcast video, live events, and digital media.
Since 2005 the Loeries has grown to incorporate activities throughout the calendar year to promote creative excellence,
including the Loeries Exhibition, Creative Future Scholarship, Migrate magazine, Official Rankings, and Archive.
The Travelling Exhibition showcases the years winning work and has travelled throughout South Africa. It has visited
educational institutions, corporate headquarters, festivals, and museums - as well as international destinations including
Namibia, Botswana, Russia and the One Club in New York.
Loeries Creative Week Cape Town started in 2010 as a legacy event for Cape Towns World Design Capital 2014 bid. It is a
celebration of Cape Towns creative life and includes lectures, presentations, demonstrations and networking.
Loeries Creative Week Cape Town has become one of the most important dates on the creative calendar.
Launched for the first time in 2012, the The Loeries Creative Week Expo completes The Loeries Experience.
