with professional qualifications acquired abroad (third level)

Proof of the German language skills, at least certificate B2 general language

and C1 specialized Medical language knowledge (GER) of the State Medical
Association of Baden-Wrttemberg, the Registration for the test will be done
automatically by the Administrative Authority 1)

medical certificate, which shows that you are not medically unfit to perform your
duties as a doctor. The medical certificate must contain a date stamp with
address and signature of the investigating physician (e.g. occupational
physician of recruiting hospital or practicing physician in Germany or the
German Embassy medical officer/cooperating doctor)

Police clearance certificate from the country of origin (original document

submitted with a certified translation that is no more than three months old,
German citizens submitting their documents must provide a clearance
certificate from the country in which their studies were completed)

An official certificate by the applicant to the registration office responsible for

his/her German residence ("document type O") must be applied for, indicated
with the purpose stated as "Approbation als Arz", and the receiving authority
stated as "Regierungsprsidium Stuttgart, Referat 92, zH. Frau Kuban Postfach
10 29 42, 70 025 Stuttgart. In case of residence abroad, you have to apply for
the official record via www.bundesjustizamt.de

Simple declaration that no further application for approval was made (with date
and signature)

Simple declaration stating your intent to pursue your profession as a doctor in

Baden-Wrttemberg (signed and dated)

Simple declaration that no criminal / prosecutorial investigation is pending

(signed and dated)

Clearance certificate / Certificate of Good Standing, with an official translation

from the country in which the profession as a doctor is/was exercised.

If available :
Certificate of doctoral degree, if an academic degree in the approval document,
should be entered (copy certified by the Mayor's Office or the University). A
subsequent registration is not possible. 2)

The documents may not be older than 3 month.

Important instructions
1. The applicants must prove that they have the necessary German skills to
exercise the profession.

Note:
General language skills at the B2 level (from a recognized language school) and
language skills in the area of medical English on the C1 level of the State
Chamber of Physicians of Baden-Wrttemberg are required. The C1 test
(Fachsprachprfung) will be approved automatically after receipt of the
application. The fee for the specialized language exam (Fachsprachprfung) is
350 .

2. University degrees shown in the documents of education will be entered

automatically into the system of the relevant government office.

An administrative fee will be charged for the license to practice medicine. In

general, administrative fees in the amount of 250 Euros must be paid, this
amount can increase when overhead costs rise. If you have not named any
service address (e.g. HR of recruiting hospital), any necessary management
fees must be paid for through invoice prepayment. Payment terms will be
communicated to you if all licensure requirements are verified.

The right to request further documentation and, where appropriate, translated

documents is reserved.
