festive 5K on a frosty morning, you are helping our citys families, seniors, and community
members with disabilities stay warm this winter.

In the past year alone, NeedLink has kept nearly 5,000 of our neighbors warm and housed,
including more than 2,500 children.
Your sponsorship of the Red Nose Run not only makes one of Nashvilles favorite family-
friendly holiday traditions possible. Your tax-deductible gift also prevents families from
becoming homeless or living without heat in their homes.

Jacquelines Story
Jacqueline was excited to welcome her new baby. After two daughters, she was delighted
to learn that she was having a little boy. She budgeted exactly what she needed to save
from each paycheck, in order to pay her rent and utility bills, since her employer did not
offer paid maternity leave.
Jacqueline was well on the way to meeting her goals, when she was placed on bedrest a
month before the baby was to be born. Jacquelines number one priority was having a safe
place for her little girls and new baby to live, so she used the money she saved to pay her
rent, hoping that the electricity company would give her a little extra time.
While Jacqueline was at the hospital, she received a panicked call from her sister, who was
watching her little girls. The power was disconnected, and the temperature was going to
dip down below freezing that night. NeedLinks service coordinators worked with the
hospital social worker to have the familys power reconnected, so that the family could
welcome their newest member home to a warm house.
Each year, up to 2,000 of our neighbors and visitors from around the Southeast kick off
the holiday season in style, taking to the streets of Music City adorned with tinsel, tutus,
and antlers galore.

company, as families shift their focus to entertaining. Once the temperature starts to drop,

trademarks for including this sponsorship in listings and descriptions of the race.

Rudolphs Red Nose Run is currently planned for Saturday, December 2. All efforts will be made to ensure
that the race is held on that date. NeedLink will not be responsible for damages that result from delays or
cancellations due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to weather and
Metro permitting processes. If the race cannot take place, sponsorship fees shall be treated as a donation
to NeedLink Nashville and will not be refunded.
