Target Audience

Ive decided that my mockumentary is going to be aimed at two groups; Football fans and
people who like the comedy genre such as teenagers.

I have aimed the mockumentary target audience at football fans because they enjoy the
sport and will take interest in watching something of the football genre. They will also get
some of the football related humour that is involved too such as offside jokes and football
club jokes, which will help the comedic effect of the mockumentary.

My second target audience is for teenagers who will like the comedy genre and will enjoy
watching something that is humorous and clever. Ive aimed it at the teenage range because
they understand the humour, story and characters. The documentary style of filming might
also intrigue the teenage audience into watching the show and the channel choice of bbc 3
or E4 will attract the viewers.
