Experience
ESOL TEACHER | PAULDING COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT | 2011-PRESENT
Teach ESOL students in pull-out, push-in and sheltered content classes, meeting the needs
of each student while maintaining high expectations and promoting social and academic
success in grades K-12. Currently working at Ritch Middle and Dobbins Middle Schools.

EBD TEACHER | PCSD: NEBO ELEMENTARY | 2010-2011

Taught a self-contained EBD class for one school year, working with students to
encourage positive behavior choices and promote successful academic learning.

PRE-K AND 2ND GRADE TEACHER | PCSD: ROBERTS ELEMENTARY | 2008-2010

Taught a self-contained special needs Pre-K class for one school year, then moved to an
inclusion 2nd grade classroom where I was the general education teacher working
collaboratively with a special education teacher. I was responsible for all lessons and
developed differentiation strategies with my co-teacher. During my first year teaching as
a special needs Pre-K teacher, I was responsible for lesson planning and implementation,
writing and holding IEP meetings, and keeping data on student progress. I was awarded
the Rookie Teacher of the Year.
