Paper Roller Coaster Journal

8/23
- Today we started our project. We drew out a map that we will use for the building of the
actual roller coaster. Also, we decided on a theme and how it was going to be designed.
We watched videos to get ideas about how we wanted our design to look. We also set
up times that we were available to meet outside of class.
8/25
- ABSENT
- We got make up work from Lauren and had her update us on last classs progress

8/29
- We have created the base for our roller coaster and have also created some of the parts
to our roller coaster. We have to assemble them and put them all together, which we will
do on Saturday/Sunday. We still have to test our parts with the marble and make sure
they are all going to support the marble. Our main challenge now is going to be how we
are going to stack the elements on top of one another.
9/1 and 9/2
- WORK WORK WORK WORK WORK WORK
- Our whole group went to town on our roller coaster. We basically made everything and
got it all together. On 9/1 we went to Laurens house and on 9/2 we went to Parkers
house.
9/3
- I made the video for the Dragon Dungeon and finalized anything else we needed to do.
9/5
- I measured the base and timed the marble. I helped with calculations and the
presentation.
