Archbishop Peter Paul Brennan was ordained a priest by Archbishop Richard Arthur
Marchenna on May 20, 1972. His priestly ordination was validated for the African
Orthodox Church by Bishop Francis Anthony Vogt, a bishop of the African Orthodox
Church, on June 29, 1974 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church, Mastic Beach, Long
Island, New York. He was again ordained a priest conditionally by Archbishop Peter
J.G. Grazeola at St. James Chapel in Jersey City, New Jersey on October 4, 1979.
Archbishop Brennan was first consecrated a bishop in Mastic Beach, Long Island, New
York, on June 10, 1978 by Richard Thomas McFarland, a Bishop of the Holy Orthodox
Catholic Church in America in Communion with the African Orthodox Church,
assisted by Leonard Joseph Curreri, a Bishop of the Tridentine Catholic Church.
Mitred Archpriest Aquinas Thomas Tyson, O.S.B. a Roman Catholic monk of the
Benedictine Abbey of St. Paul in Newton, New Jersey also assisted. Fr. Tyson was a
mitred archpriest of the African Orthodox Church with the permission of his abbot, Fr.
Augustine Hinches, O.S.B.
Archbishop Brennan was consecrated a Bishop, sub conditione, for the African Orthodox
Church, on October 4, 1979 at Sacred Heart Chapel, Brooklyn, New York by Leonard
Joseph Curreri, a Bishop of the Tridentine Catholic Church assisted by Peter James G.
Grazeola, an Archbishop of the American National Catholic Church,. and Holmes
Bennett Dayhoff, a Bishop of the Tridentine Catholic Church.
Consecrated a Bishop, sub conditione, for the Ecumenical Catholic Diocese of the
Americas, on March 14, 1987 at Holy Angels Chapel, Glendale, California, by Forest

Archbishop Brennan was consecrated a Bishop, sub conditione, for the Ecumenical
Catholic Diocese of the Americas on March 15, 1987 at Iglesia San Agustin, Los
Angeles, by Emile Federico Rodriguez y Durand (Fairfield), an Archbishop of the Iglesia
Ortodoxia Catolica Apostolica Mexicana assisted by Paul Christian Gerald W. Schultz,
Jr., a Bishop of the Iglesia Ortodoxia Catolica Apostolica Mexicana.
Archbishop Brennan was consecrated a Bishop, sub conditione, for ECDA on February
14, 1999 at The Oratory, in Larne, Northern Ireland by Bishop Patrick Joseph Buckley,
Bishop of the Personal Prelature of St. Andrew and Superior General of the Society of
St. Andrew, in the lineage of Archbishop Ngo Dinh Thuc.
These consecrations were done in moral and spiritual union with his first consecration as
a bishop as was the next consecration by Archbishop Persson for The Order of
Corporate Reunion. Archbishop Persson consecrated sub conditione to the Sacred
Episcopate and enthroned as Archbishop, Peter Paul Patrick Brennan, as Titular
Archbishop of Jerpoint-Cashel for the Ecumenical Catholic Diocese of the Americas,
and as (Titular Archbishop) Rector of Nassau County, Long Island, for The Order of
Corporate Reunion, on October 21, 2001 in the Lincoln Suite Chapel at the Mid-Town
Hilton Hotel in New York City, assisted by Archbishop Francis Spataro, of The
Apostolic Episcopal Church and The Order of Corporate Reunion, and by Bishop
Paget Mack of The Order of Corporate Reunion, and by Archbishop Bruce Simpson of
the Holy Orthodox Catholic Church, and by Archbishop Willard Schultz, Primate of
the Catholic Apostolic Church in America, and by Archbishop Joseph Grenier, Primate
of the Celtic Catholic Church, and by Archbishop George Stallings of The Immani
Temple, and by Archbishop Patrick Trujillo, Primate of the Old Catholic Archdiocese
of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and by Archbishop Joseph Gouthro of The American
Catholic Church. Archbishop Persson officially appointed and installed Archbishop
Brennan as his co-adjutor successor in the office of Universal Primate for the Order of
Corporate Reunion on July 11, 2004. The installation of Archbishop Brennan as the
International Universal Primate of the OCR took place at St. Lucys Old Roman Catholic
Church, in Brooklyn, New York, on July 17, 2005 at the retirement of Archbishop
Persson from that office. Archbishop Brennan is also the First Vice President of the
World Bishops Council.

* Archbishop Dr. Nils Bertil Alexander Persson of Sweden, was consecrated by
Archbishop Perry Nikolaus Cedarholm on December 12, 1971. Archbishop Persson is
recognized as a Pastor by the Church of Sweden, is the Primate Emeritus of the
Apostolic Episcopal Church (The Holy Eastern Catholic and Apostolic Orthodox
Church), Missionary General of the Iglesia Filipina Catolica Independiente for
Scandanavia and All Europe, Missionary General the Igreja Catolica Apostolica
Brasiliera for Scandanavia, and is the Primate of the Order of Corporate Reunion..
* Archbishop Perry Nikolaus Cedarholm was consecrated by Archbishop John
Chrysostom More-Moreno of the American Orthodox Church on December 6, 1949.
* Archbishop John Chrysostom More-Moreno of the American Orthodox Church was
consecrated in November 1933 by Bishop Sophronios Bishara of the American
Orthodox Church.
* Bishop Sophronios Bishara was consecrated as the American Orthodox Bishop of Los
Angeles and the West on May 26, 1928, in New York City, by Archbishop Aftimios
Ofiesh, of the Syrian Orthodox Mission of the Russian Orthodox Church and the first
