NOTE: This translation is from the out-of-print Cthulhu Mythos

tome called The Whispers of Altuas. The work that has been
reprinted here was first discovered in the second half of The
Whispers.

Iak-Kuk! Iak-Kuk!

Heap your power into my flesh!

Iak-Kuk! Iak-Kuk!

I speak the Elder Names of Night

Of the Dreams of Naxyr.

Reveal the secrets of long-lost buried treasures;

And the knowledge of Those to Come!

O Great Iak-Kuk, silvery rain of contact!

Open the Way, O Son of Yog-Sothoth.

Bestow your gnosis upon me,

this I beseech!

(Here the adept will draw blood from the left palm with a ritual
blade.)
O Mighty Iak-Kuk,

Bless me!

O Great Iak-Kuk,

Guide the Winding Path.

I! I! Yog-Sothoth!

The face which stares back from the abyss!

The key to unplumbed angles!

The Maze of One-Million Forms.

Yhok-Zhothaak!

(Make the Sign of Voor with your right hand. Immediately following
the converse, dismiss Iak-Kuk with laughter. End of rite.)
