The EQUIP II-funded darululum islami project construction activities were started on
24/02/2012 and completed on 23/02/2013.
2 Quality:
Darululum islami EQUIP II -funded building same time 24/02/2012 was transferred to
Paktika University and is now currently used for university students.
The EQUIP II- funded darululum building is single story building 8 classrooms, latrine
bloc and eight set latrine stall, laboratory and office room.
Some parts of the schools were worn out which required repair and replace
including, windows, doors lock, insect screen .sidewalk see photo (15 to 19)
The EQUIP II- funded darululum building was reported as being of above average
construction quality and workmanship, receiving an overall grade above 3.8 with no
minor deviation in the school during the time of monitoring.
3. QEG:
The darululum ismlami EQUIP II - funded building has not received Quality Education
Grant (QEG) QEG-1,and QEG-2 at the time of monitoring.

a. Community was consulted at the planning and implementation phase but it does not
include female. However, no documentation was available to validate it.
b. There are three committees men were not female member of three committees (1-
Cultural committee,2- Assurance committee,3 - Academic council committee).

c. 8 jeriebs land was donated by the afghan governments no community towards
contribution for the project.
d. There was GRM available on the site, but no logbook for GRM was
available on the site. The principal verbally addressed the grievances.
e. ESMP was not available. However, there was not negative impact noted on the site.
