Proverbs 2:1-12

1 My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you,

2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;
3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding,
4 If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures;
5 Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding;
7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;
8 He guards the paths of justice, and preserves the way of His saints.
9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path.
10 When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul,
11 Discretion will preserve you; understanding will keep you,
12 To deliver you from the way of evil,

Psalm 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of
the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not
wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

Psalm 19:7-14
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned, and in keeping them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.
13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless,
and I shall be innocent of great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my
Redeemer.

Psalm 20:3
3 May He remember all your offerings,

Psalm 25:6-7
6 Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For they are from of old.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your
goodness' sake, O LORD.

Psalm 30:4-5

Psalm 31:19-20
19 Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those

pavilion from the strife of tongues.

18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy,

2 My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together.
4 I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.
8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
9 Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.
10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
11 Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 Who is the man who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.
16 The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Psalm 36:7-9
7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your
wings.

9 For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.

Psalm 37:3-7
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.
6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him;

of his enemies.

Psalm 45:6-8
6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more
than Your companions.
8 All Your garments are scented with myrrh and aloes and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made You
glad.

Psalm 46:10
10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Psalm 50:19-21
19 You give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit.
20 You sit and speak against your brother; You slander your own mother's son.
21 These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you, and set
them in order before your eyes.
22 "Now consider this, you who forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, And there be none to deliver:

Psalm 50:23

Lamentations 3:22-26
22 Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
24 "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!"
25 The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.
26 It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

Luke 11:9-13
9 "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a
serpent instead of a fish?
12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the
Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!

Romans 4:16-17
16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to
those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all
17 (as it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations" ) in the presence of Him whom he believed - God, who
gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

Romans 5:1-2
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 5:11
11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the
reconciliation.

Romans 5:17
17 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and
of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Romans 6:4-6
4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory
of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His
resurrection,
6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no
longer be slaves of sin.

Romans 6:11-14
11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being
alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Romans 6:17-18
17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which
you were delivered.
18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

Romans 6:22-23
22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end,
everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 7:4
4 Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to
another - to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:12-13

13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

Romans 8:32
32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all
things?

Romans 8:37
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Romans 10:15
15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the
gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!"

Romans 10:17
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 11:20-22
20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear.
21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.
22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you
continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

Romans 11:29
29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

Romans 12:1-3
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is
that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he
ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Romans 13:14
14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

Romans 14:10-12
10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the
judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written: "As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God."
12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.

Romans 14:17
17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Romans 14:23
23 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.

Romans 15:5
5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,

have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 1:17-18
17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ
should be made of no effect.
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power
of God.

1 Corinthians 2:4-5
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit
and of power,
5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10
9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has
prepared for those who love Him."
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:12
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that
have been freely given to us by God.

16 For "who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 4:19-21
19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.
20 For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.
21 What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?

disqualified.

1 Corinthians 10:12-13
12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.
13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be
tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to
bear it.

1 Corinthians 11:32
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

14 Let all that you do be done with love.

12 For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and
godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

2 Corinthians 2:14
14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His

9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18

18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same
image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:16
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day

18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen
are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 5:9-11
9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body,
according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well
known in your consciences.

2 Corinthians 5:15
15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose
again.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become
new.
18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of
reconciliation,
19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has
committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf,
be reconciled to God.
21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

2 Corinthians 6:16-18
16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I
will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people."
17 Therefore "Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will
receive you."
18 "I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty."

death.

6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an
abundance for every good work.
9 As it is written: "He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever."

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I
will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For
when I am weak, then I am strong.

2 Corinthians 12:14

are, yet without sin.

7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
