1. Using a KRONE insertion tool, insert the pairs into the connectors. (To
avoid a short circuit with the little cut wire, hold the end of the wire in
one hand.) (Refer to Figure 36.)
2. Attach the cables.
3. Label the cables near the connectors.
1. Begin with the cables of the first MT120 board (equipped or not).
2. Extract the MT120 a little from the subrack.
3. At the DDF, identify the terminal blocks to which the cable is connected.

The Alcatel Testing Tool Kit contains: Injecting box + control box + A9125
interface cable + user manual n 3BK 25832 ADAA.
4. Using the Alcatel PCM testing tool kit, verify the cabling according to the
Installation Method of DDF for BSS Equipment (Reference 3DF 00435
0033 RJZZA).
5. After testing the cables of the first MT120 board, test the rest of the cables.

Install the Ethernet cables as described in Install STM1 Optical Fiber Cables
(O3) (Section 2.8). The Ethernet cables must reach the rear side of the
JSTCIF subrack.
Refer to Site-Specific Information (Section 1.2.2) for the number of Ethernet
cables to install.
