CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2009-27

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CITIZENS

CHARTER FOR THE CITY OF CABADBARAN,
AGUSAN DEL NORTE AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED, by the 1st Sangguniang Panlungsod of

Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte, in its 96 th Regular Session
assembled, t h a t:

SECTION 1. The Citizens Charter for the City of Cabadbaran,

drafted by its Task Force in pursuance of Republic Act No. 9485 otherwise
known as the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007 is hereby adopted and
made an integral part of this Ordinance.

SECTION 2. Pursuant to the Implementing Rules and Regulations

governing the implementation of Republic Act 9485, all Departments of
the Local Government Unit of Cabadbaran City are enjoined to
undertake on a continuing basic programs to promote customer
satisfaction and improve service delivery, and other similar activities for
officers and employees in frontline services.

SECTION 3. All Departments of this LGU shall post in their

respective offices the step-by-step procedure to obtain a service from
their office.

SECTION 4. Any employee who violates the provisions in this

Ordinance and the provisions of the Citizens Charter shall suffer the
penalties provided under RA 9485 and/or the applicable provisions of
the Civil Service Rules and Regulations after compliance with the
substantive and procedural due process.

SECTION 5. The City shall appropriate in its Annual Budget

under the General Fund beginning CY 2009 and every year thereafter,
the amount of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P 100,000.00) to fund
this program.

SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days

upon its approval and compliance of the posting and/or publication
requirements.
