What have the counselors been DOING these past weeks!?!?
Some dont know or are asking and we dont blame you! Just so you know, weve been: tracking down enrollment paperwork & cumulative record documentation; adjusting homerooms; shifting records/cumulative folders; collaborating on, consulting about, & even delivering cumulative folders for transfer students at times; signing credit recovery contracts; helping babes adjust; counseling retained 8th graders; acclimating our 3 interns; organizing School Counseling curriculum materialswe WORK for you!
What you can do now to make your life easier later:
Keep accurate attendance records o Update with Mrs. Brown (if needed) with notes of excusal/absence, particularly for September Begin PMPs on students who arouse concern regarding meeting the standard(s) o This includes prior year retainees Document accommodations & modifications for your EESS populations (students with 504s & IEPs)
