A. INTRODUCTION
Eternal Engineering was the company that involve and works with customer to plan, develop, implement and evaluate the
most effective and State of The Art Technology for water and waste management with emphasis for recycle and zero
pollution at affordable economy. There are many type of project that been handling and successful since the beginning of
the company. This company started at the early of 2001 and until now. It can been seen the through the project list which
had been conducted and success and the company website. Utilising the latest technology, applying proven engineering
processes, and relying on a strong network of international resources, Eternal Engineering provides a wealth of
experience and specialist expertise to the worldwide water industry. At the forefront of private sector participation, Eternal
Engineering's core capabilities include: water and wastewater process engineering, water and wastewater treatment,
water infrastructure investment and operation, water asset management and water leisure facilities design and
construction

In this company, the type of the project that was conducted are Water and Waste Treatment Solution, this company will
provide a wealth of specialist and experience expertise in this worldwide water industry. The type of job that this company
provide to the client are water and wastewater process engineering, water and wastewater treatment, water infrastructure
investment and operation, water asset management and water leisure facilities design and construction. Secondly, in
Water and Environmental Engineering, we will deliver a greater efficiency and cost-effective environmental protection by
incorporating a progressive approach to water resources management that will combine the upgrade of existing system
with a new facilities. Thirdly, for the Water and Wastewater Process Engineering it will cover the whole entire spectrum of
municipal and industrial water and also wastewater treatment, beside provide equipment worldwide. Eternal company
offer the chemical and mechanical engineering skills to our client to treat all grades of water and wastewater thus offer
proven treatment process.

This fourth point is Water Treatment deliver a cost-effective solution to all problems which started from the smaller to
bigger that has related to water treatment. Fifthly, Sewage Treatment, Sixthly, Civil Engineering by provide effective
design solution to the client problem and offering in-house civil engineering facilities. The last point, Packaged Equipment,
Product and Service, by offer a selection of the equipment that used in water and wastewater treatment plants and
products used in water management operations, including cutting edge equipment for the collection, analysis and transfer
of data which relating to the water industry.

There are many type of project that been handling and successful since the beginning of the company. This company
started at the early of 2001 and until now. All of the project that been conducted since the early of the company
development can refer at their company website.

1. Organization Chart

Ir Lee Kok Seng (Director)

 Mr. Lee holds degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is responsible for all technical aspect in HYTRAN SDN
BHD. All projects are under his design and implementation. He is partic-ularly knowledgeable in Water Supply
and Pumping Station having spent over 18 years in this field.

Yeoh How Leong (Director)

Mr. Yeoh holds degree in Chemical Engineering. He is responsible for all technical aspect in ETERNAL
ENGINEERING SDN BHD. All projects are under his design and implemen-tation. He is particularly
knowledgeable in Water Supply and Pumping Station having spent over 19 years in this field.

Chan Ken Ming ( Project Manager)

Mr. Chan is experience in water treatment . Having a total of more than 10 years in this in-dustry, he is
involved in the actual installation and implementation of all projects.

Tan HJ ( Asst Project Manager)

Mr. Foo is experience in water treatment and wastewater treatment. Having a total of more than 5 years in
this industry, he is involved in the actual installation and implementation of all projects.

Foo Meow Fatt ( Senior Project Executive)

Mr. Foo is experience in water treatment and wastewater treatment. Having a total of more than 20 years in
this industry, he is involved in the actual installation and implementation of all projects.

SW Chai ( Senior Project Engineer)

Mr. Chai is experience in pumping station and water treatment plant. Having total of more than 6 years in
this industry, he is involved in the actual installation and implementation of all projects and also testing
and commissioning after project completion.

Liew Hang Leong ( Testing and Commissioning Engineer)

 Mr. Liew is experience in water treatment. Having a total of more than 2 years in this indus-try, he is
involved in the actual installation and implementation of all projects.

Tham CT (Testing and Commissioning Engineer)

Mr. Tham is experience in pumping station and water treatment plant. Having total of more than 15 years
in this industry, he is involved in the testing and commissioning of all pro-jects.

HYTRAN SDN BHD is also staffed by a group of dedicated and loyal people involved with administration (3) and
Technicians (2)

Besides these people, HYTRAN SDN BHD has the support and commitment from the pool of sub-contractors and
suppliers involved in water treatment and pumping projects.

2. Process Flow

HYTRAN has extensive experience and comprehensive in-house capability in hydraulic surge analysis and
modeling. Surge transients (water hammer) can destroy pipe systems, cause contamination of clean water, and
cause leakage or bursts on both major and minor hydraulic systems.The potential for severe surge transients
should be assessed for all hydraulic systems so that catastrophic system failures and unnecessary leakage and
contamination can be avoided.
 HYTRAN has a team of hydraulic specialists with experience of surge transient analysis and
modeling.Emphasis is given to understanding the nature and risk of worst case surge transients on a giv-en
system. Our analysis enables worst case surge transient scenarios to be identified prior to model development.

Once a potential risk is identified, sophisticated software is used to develop a model to deter-mine the severity of
the risk, and to examine the effectiveness of potential solutions.

3. Briefly daily/ weekly activity

WEEK 1

On the 1st day of start practical, I do not do anything and there is no any task given by other employee to me. I
come to the office around 8.30 and started report to the supervisor which is Mr Lee Kok Seng which acts as the director to
the Eternal Engineering Sdn. Bhd company`s. The work shift ended at 5.30 p.m. 2 nd days of practical I been told to follow
Mr Ling to site visit one of the project company located at Bandar Tasik Puteri, Rawang, Selangor. The site visit started
around 10 a.m to 2 p.m, which the purpose of the site visit is to make sure the site in good condition for the final check by
the Jabatan Air Selangor before hand over it to them. At that site, I briefing by Mr Ling, how the process of the water from
pump to suction reservoir tank took place. I also get the chance to look how the inspection been conducted from the
engineer of Jabatan Air Selangor.

3rd days, I get to chance to site visit our project that cooperate with SAINS (Jabatan Air Negeri Sembilan) situated
at GEMAS, Negeri Sembilan. In the site visit, I learn how to treat the raw water comes from the river to become clean
water that used by us in our daily life. There are several stages included in this process to make the water become clean.
Besides that, the purpose of this site visit to look how the employee service the equipment that use in the process of
water. The site visit ended around 10.pm when arrived at office Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.

4th day, I followed one of the employee with them go to the Dusun Nanding, Hulu Langat to see the ongoing
project that conducted by the biggest company in Malaysia which is MMC GAMUDA to build the biggest raw water
treatment in Selangor. The water is channel from Sg Pahang to Kajang Selangor using underground pipe. The estimate
time to complete all the project is mid of next year

The 5th day of week 1, sit at the office and do some office work by help one of the senior engineer do of his work.

WEEK 2

This company told me to attend the Greencard course being held at WISMA PKPS, Seksyen 14, Shah Alam
which paid by the company. The purpose of the greencard courses need to take by anyone who involve in the
construction project. In this courses, we all been briefing the safety part when enter the construction project, the suitable
PPE, and many more. The course started at 9a.m and ended at 4 p.m.

For the next 3 days in week 2, a task been given to me by senior engineer in this office to copy and paste the
Autocad that supply to me. The task need to copy and paste around 30 layout of Autocad and compile it in one file using
SODA PDF DESKTOP. After finish it, send back to the engineer to been check and correct back.

WEEK 3
 Started from 31/7/2017 until 3/8/2017, do some work at the office which compile and fold the A3 paper of the
previous project to binds and to claim from the other company. Apart from that, I also help Mr Lau to make a tagged using
Autocad and correct the mistake that I been made from the previous task. Help 3 scan 3 set of layout which around 200
sheets and compile using SODA PDF DESKTOP. Fridays, 4/8/2017 get unpaid leaves to see Dr at Hospital Sg Buloh for
face treatment and also get the permission from supervisor Mr Lee

WEEK 4

7/8-11/8/2017, do the task that been left by senior engineer to me to edit the plan layout in the pdf form and finish
it on Thursday. Go to CIDB company located at the seksyen 14, Shah Alam to take the green card on Friday

WEEK 5

Start the week by help cut the wire for senior engineer. In the 2 nd days, there are no work given by the other
employee and most of them go to site. 3 rd day of week 5, I help one of the employee to collect flowmeter at Balakong,
Cheras at T.S Wong and sent it to Intrex at Sungai Buloh and ended at 5.30 pm. On the next days, I collect all the
company things around K.L and sent it to company and ended also around 5.30 p.m. Friday, just sat at the office and not
do anythings.

WEEK 6

In this week i been given task to correct the design projet that been drawing by the main consultant using a
thiinner and and brush to delete at certain part of the drawing. The task was included 3 rolls of paper which are aound
250 pieces of drawing.

The 1st rolls completed for 3 days and continue with the 2 nd rolls. This work will continue untill week 10 to
completed all of them.

WEEK 7

This week i sat at the office to finish the 2 rolls of drawing and 31/8 and 1/9 was the off days for all of the worker.
The 2 rolls completed this week and proceed to the 3 rolls for th following week that will taked 3 week to completed the
200 pieces fo drawing

WEEK8 &9

Continue the previous worl by try to completed it before week 10. This fill the whole 2 week by finish this task

WEEK 10

I been ask to follow by onr of thr engineer to bukit jelutong project to supervise and checked the pump that used
in this project and i been told the equipment is malfunction and need to take out of the pump and send it ti distributor to
change with the new one because still on warranty
c. CONCLUSION

Based on 2.5 month i been practical this company which is HYTRAN ENGINEERING, i t can be concluded that
many things i had learn and practise the subject that been teach at the faculty. Firstly, one of the main component in this
company, most of the engineer need to expertise the AUTOCAD software. This software is more important for the
engineer that work at the consultant company. For me, it so lucky, one of the senior engineer had teach me many things
about thIs software beside i can also revise the things i had learn at the faculty.

Secondly, time. In this company, i know time is more important. The engineer in this company always to work unitl
late night and more that ofice hour to complete the task that been given by the upper consultant. They use the working
time very wisely and do nt play around.

Thirdly,as the engineer they take the project seriously and correctly. As we know that, an engineer need to take
the project that been given seriously and how important the project when it is finished.

Fourthly, skill. This company will train our skill how to handle a big project that been given to us when we started
work. The skill will included how we manage to the project, the people aorund us, the main consultant, the worker below
us and many more.

Lastly, from this practical i will had an experience in the working exviroment before gaduated from university life
