Litfest for the year 2017-2018 will be held on the following days.

Last date to register for optional events is 24-8-2017. (Please send diary note to the class
teacher)

1) Shloka :- We have already sent the message.

2) Quiz :- Prelims on 31-8-17 (Thursday)
Topics : Wild life, sports, books and authors, Festivals, Sports (pl. refer edchemy),
current affairs of India, Mahabharatha (basic facts), Science & Technology, Indian
Monuments.
3) Pick and speak (II L) - Prelims will be held in the last week of August during school
hours.
4) Art & Craft:- Wearable tribal mask.
Child has to bring an oval shaped white KG cardboard sheet with opening for eyes and
string attached to wear the mask.
Materials for decoration like oil pastels, feathers, colour papers, leaves, glitters etc., to
be brought from home and decoration to be done in school.

5) Creative Writing :- Child has to write 10 to 15 sentences on any one of the following
topics
in school. Preparation has to be done at home.
Topics:
a) A festival celebration in my house.
b) When my baby brother or sister was born.
c) Why parks are important.
d) The match I played and won.
e) How I helped my ___________ ( any person of the childs choice)
f) My unforgettable trip/train journey.

6) Folk Dance:- Prelims date will be announced based on registration. For each section
name of 2 states will be given. Child has to choose one and dance accordingly.
Class 3A - Tamil Nadu / Goa
Class 3B - Assam / Maharashra
Class 3C - Karnataka / Punjab
Class 3D - Gujarat / Nagaland
Class 3E - Rajasthan / Kerala
Class 3F - West Bengal / Kashmir
7) Music- English songs : - Prelims will be held in the last week of August during school
hours.
8) Mono acting : Prelims date will be intimated based on the registration. Choose a
character and act both an negative and transformed positive character (eg. Step
mother in Cindrella) act both as troubling step mother and transformed polite mother.
Props and costume only for finals.
Few more ideas - Sher khan in jungle book, queen in snow white children can enact
other character of their choice.
