09-06-2017:

In lieu of rising tensions between the United States and the

Democratic People`s Republic of Korea, the Japanese government
has compiled a series of countermeasures to ensure civilian safety
and prevent loss of life.

The Civilian Protection Law is as follows: The civilian

protection law is set in place to ensure the safety of Japanese
citizens in the event of any aggressive action by a hostile nation.
In accordance with this we will set about to implement measures
which set about cooperation between every level of government to
ensure that loss of life and property are kept at the most
miniscule of levels.

The Cabinet Secretariat Civilian Protection Portal Site

(http://www.kokuminhogo.go.jp/) contains vital information/FAQs
