Genset Prestart-Up Procedures
Check Fuel level of Base tank, It must be
1 in full level
Check Lube oil level of the genset, it must
2 be on high level of the dip stick.
Drain Water/sediment from fuel tanks and
3 genset fuel filters.
Check radiator coolant level, it must be in
4 full level.
Visually check radiator fan belt for any
5 loose, mis-alignment/damage.
Visually check leaks for oil and radiator
6 coolant hose connections.
Check battery terminals for any loose
7 connection.
Check battery charger voltage at control
8 panel. Battery meter should be 25.5 - 27.8 Vdc.

Genset Start-Up Procedures
1 Pull down / Turn off Genset Breaker
Run genset by pressing Run Button
2 (Allow the genset to run for 10 min)
Stop the genset by pressing Stop Button
3 (Allow the genset to cooldown)
Back to standby mode by pressing Auto
4 Button
5 Pull up / Turn on Genset Breaker
Generator Set Power Interruption Work Instruction Procedure Technician Illustration Genset Scheduled Power Interruption Proceed to genset area 10 minutes before 1 power interruption and ensure that the genset will run at Auto mode
If Genset failed to run at Auto Mode, verify
2 and reset alarm. ( Press Stop button then press Auto button)
Verify if Elevator,CPS,ATS,Fire Pump &
3 Jockey Pump is operational
Monitor Genset parameters (verify active
4 power load of genset)
In case of underload ,(Turn-on all
5 Airconditioning units at common areas)
Turn on lights at Southwing Area (Full
6 Illumination)
7 Monitor Genset parameters hourly

Genset Emergency to Normal Procedures
1 Allow the Engine to cooldown
Verify if Elevator,CPS,ATS,Fire Pump &
2 Jockey Pump is operational
Turn off Airconditiong unit at common
3 areas (Back to normal operation)
Turn off lights at Southwing Area (Back to
4 normal operation)
Proceed to genset area,pull down/turn
5 off Genset Breaker and refill fuel at the base tank
