The 3rd Annual Poseidons Parade was bigger and better than
ever. Dozens of groups turned up with their best mermaid-in-
spired or nautical looks and Rockaway showed its creative side
with massive homemade floats, choreographed dance routines,
musical performances and more. Congratulations to Casey
Brouder and the Rockaway Mermaid Brigade, along with the De-
partment of Parks and Recreation for ending summer with a big
splash on the boardwalk on Saturday, September 16. For those
