2.1 AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM
The air-conditioning system shall be designed in accordance to the following specifications
listed below:-

Relative Humidity: 50 % to 70 %
Fresh air requirement shall be in accordance to Uniform Building By-Law (UBBL)
requirement and ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2013 Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air
Quality to ensure the building is not in negative pressure.
Air-conditioning system shall be provided at all public toilets by reusing common area
waste air through toilet exhaust fan to force waste air pass through the toilet before
discharge to external environment.
Air curtains shall be installed above automatic sliding doors at all levels entrances, car
park lift lobbies and escalator lobbies.
In general, the air-conditioning system can be categorized into sub-system below
- Chilled Water System
- Air-Handling Unit (AHU)
- Fan Coil Unit (FCU)
- Air-Cooled Split Unit (ACSU)
