Gods Eternal Covenant

The Lesson of Seed
Recapping:

Before time was, before God ever set anything into motion, He made His
covenant with Himself ~ a legal contract for sons of God ~ a legal contract for a material
and visible creation of man in His image after His likeness ~ a Kingdom of sons of God
~ a kingdom of priests.

The LORD God set His Eternal Covenant figured in the signs and seasons in
Genesis 1:14 within a framework laid out in His heaven as a blueprint. This blueprint is
known as the Mazzaroth ~ the 12 stars with their signs in the heavenly revelation.

This legal expression of the contract of that which God has done-in eternity past,
is doing-present, and will do-in eternity future, is between the parties of the Counsels of
the Godhead. Gods creation of mankind is not involved in the keeping of His Covenant.

The light of the knowledge of the glory of God is not revealed in the
configurations of the stars, but in the meanings of the figurative message of the
names of the stars with their signs displayed, as it has been revealed in ancient star
charts (see Romans 10:14-18).

The purpose of a blueprint is to see the whole design of that which is determined
by the builder, laid out as accomplished.

Thus, in the heavens is declared the glory of God to His creation of humanity of
His testimony. This blueprint is a testimony and a witness to the good news of His
Covenant Son ~ The LORD Jesus Christ, the power of God unto salvation (Romans
1:16). And it is all declared in the figurative message of the stars with their signs.

As was previously mentioned in the last lesson, we are not discussing astrology
~ the reading of the horoscope that assumes to interpret the influence of the heavenly
bodies on human affairs.

Those persons who attempt such things are known in the Scriptures as false
prophets. Nor are we discussing the worshipping of the luminaries. The worship of the
host of heaven is strictly forbidden of God.

What we are looking at is the blueprint of the Master Builder for a creation of
man, in His image, after His likeness ~ a Kingdom of sons of God ~ a kingdom of priests
which He would ratify in time with the shedding of His blood.

Understanding Gods Covenant in light of Gods word gives man a rightly-

directed reverence for God and a true understanding of his purpose as a creation of
God.

God:
In our last lesson, we saw ~ God is Life Eternal. Eternal life without beginning
and without end. God is Spirit ~ spirit is immaterial and invisible. God does not have a
material visible image.

God is Deity in Being ~ He alone is God, uncreated, pre-existent, self-existent.

God is Righteous. Righteousness is an attribute of God and only God. Only God does
that which is absolutely right.

God is one God ~ but three personal beings. God is a personal being of mind,
will and emotion. God thinks and wills and feels.

Each Being of the Godhead is always and only in unity with one another. Each
personal being thinks, and wills, and feels in total agreement with the others. God is All
Seeing, All Knowing, and Everywhere Present. God is ~ other than His creation.

In our last lesson, we were introduced to the term seed saying that in order for
God to fulfill His purpose to have sons of God ~ man in His image ~ material and visible
~ Eternal, and after His likeness ~ Righteous, He must have Seed. What do we mean
by the term seed?

Understanding Seed:

In todays vernacular of language, we do not think of seed as a body of flesh. The

word seed is foreign in our concept in terms of bodies of humanity.

A seed body of flesh is a kernel of life. The creation has many kinds of seed
bodies of flesh ~ vegetable flesh, plant flesh, animal flesh and human flesh.

Explanation of the word Seed:

All the uses for the word seed in the Old Testament, with the exception of two,
and one is a Chaldean form of the same word, are the Hebrew equivalent of the Greek
sperma, whether connected to plants or humans.

We tend to limit sperm as it relates to the male seed of the human race.
However, sperma is the best support for life in the seed to reproduce after its kind
because it is so expressive and recognizable.

Unfortunately, as most of the newer Bible translations change the word to either
descendants or offspring in most places, the picture is lost and most likely not found in
any commentary.

The Law of Life:

In the design of the body as a seed of flesh is the pictorial that the origin of that
which is created must have seed in itself to yield seed after its kind.

The law of life, clearly described in the Genesis record, records all life must come
from preexisting life, after his kind, whose seed is in itself ~ (Genesis 1:11, 24, 25, 28)
meaning that the seed must possess its own life within itself for more of its kind.

All and every seed, no matter the origin of seed flesh, must have seed in itself,
to yield seed flesh after its kind, that is the law of life. All life comes from preexisting life
(Genesis 1:11-13).

All life comes from the seed of its own kind, be that the seed of a plant,
vegetable, fruit, animal or humanity. Every living seed of flesh comes from its own seed
after its kind. Thus, without seed within the seed, the seed is unable to yield more seed.

Like Reproduces Like:

Within the law of life is the revelation of like reproducing like. For example, there
is only one composition or structure of a body of humanity ~ flesh and bone.

That which is born of the seed flesh of humanity is a creation of mortal bodies ~
sons of humanity of flesh and bone come from the preexisting life of flesh.

Seed for the bodies of flesh ~ for humanity comes from the father of that
species planted in the womb of the mother of the species and are birthed. The
Scriptures says that which is born of the flesh is flesh.

While it is true that man is considered body, soul and spirit, there is a difference
between bodies of flesh and bone, and beings. There is a difference between seed and
souls.

Hence the creation of the body of humanity ~ mankind, male and female ~ is a
seed of life, made in Gods image (Genesis 1:27). The composition or structure of the
image of God is flesh and bone (Luke 24:36-39).

The life of the seed flesh body of humanity is blood ~ Leviticus 17:11 For the life
of the flesh is in the blood (see Genesis 9:4-6; Deuteronomy 12:23).

Genesis 2:7:

God never does anything without design. The body is very important to the
LORD God.

The body is for the Lord and the Lord is for the body (1 Corinthians 6:13). God
formed the dwelling place of man from the dust of the ground, making a creation of seed
life.

The body formed from the dust of the ground is evidence that man is not his
body. The body is the dwelling place for man, the body is a seed of life.

Three-fold purpose:

The body serves a three-fold purpose. First, the body is a seed of life for the
procreation of sons of humanity. Second, the body is the evidence of sonship.

The material ~ visible image of the seed of flesh is the evidence that the personal
being brought forth has been born into a family

Finally, the covering of man is temporary ~ of the earth, earthy. The life of that
body ~ the blood ~ is dependent upon breath (Deuteronomy 12:23). Thus, man is seen
of God as naked, meaning he is unclothed without a permanent garment of Eternal life
covering him (Genesis 2:25; 3:10; 2 Corinthians 5:1-4).

The nakedness of the temporary covering, will serve as a teaching truth for the
man. Man needs Eternal life for the body. Consequently, the seed of flesh for mans
dwelling is the Lords, made in Gods image. Although man thinks of the body as his and
the image as him, according to the word of God neither is true.

Beings: Man

Man, is a living soul ~ an individual personal being of mind, will, and emotions,
brought forth into being from preexisting life ~ the breath of Life eternal ~ spirit Life
(Genesis 1:26, 2:7).

Spirit life:

As a soul of spirit life ~ the breath of God ~ the life of the personal being of man
is spirit life ~ eternal life. Gods breath is not Gods Deity. His breath is His spirit, His
Deity is His being.

Genesis 2:7b:

Thus, man is immaterial and invisible. A soul of spirit life ~ there is only one of
you ~ a personal being immaterial and invisible brought forth by the breath of Life
eternal, thus man is an eternal being without end.

Man, in his being, is unrighteous ~ man is lawless and at enmity in his mind
against his Creator. The personal being is asexual. Man ~ the soul of spirit life is neither
male nor female.

Thus, what identifies the gender of the personal being as male or female is the
covering of the seed ~ the body of flesh in which the personal being dwells.

Thus, by the design of God, the life of the seed of flesh is blood and dependent
upon breath but the life of the soul, the personal being is spirit life ~ eternal life (Genesis
2:7).

Hence mans need for Eternal life for the body is evident. Brought forth from the
breath of God ~ a being of spirit life ~ eternal ~ a seed of flesh with eternal life is
necessary.

All sons come from seed ~ to be a son born into a family one must be born of
the seed of that family. God works within the realm He created. If sons come from seed
~ a body of flesh and bone, well then, a seed of flesh and bone is needed. To become a
son of God, a man must be born of Gods Seed. That is the law of life.

Gods Eternal Covenant made with Himself states that Gods plan for His
creation of humanity is to have man in His image ~ material and visible ~ Eternal ~ after
His likeness ~ Righteous, God must then have a Seed of Eternal life.

That would mean that Gods Covenant Son declared in the heavenly revelation ~
God who is spirit ~ immaterial and invisible ~ would need seed. The Covenant Son
would need a body, a seed coat of flesh in the image of God, as Seed for a body of
Eternal life that whosever believes on Him ~ the Seed of Eternal life, would be born
again a son of God.

Eternal life cannot be created which is evident. A creation has a beginning and
an end. Life eternal is life without beginning and without end. However, Life Eternal ~
God ~ can share Eternal life with His creation.

The question is How can that be and what does that mean for Gods creation of
humanity?

Isaiah 7:14:

Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive,
and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

Virgin and conceive are two words that do not go together. Who has ever heard
of a virgin ~ a young woman who has never had sexual intercourse being pregnant?

Why would God use the womans seed ~ her body and a virgins womb? Why
would that matter? Why not go the more traditional route?

Why use the womans seed and why a virgin? Those are the questions that need
to be addressed. A couple of New Testament texts gives us some insight to the
answers of those questions.

Romans 5:12:

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so
death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned (see Romans 5-8).

Jesus is not fully man and fully God. Jesus humanity ~ is His seed flesh. Jesus
is God clothed in humanity. His being is Deity ~ He is other than His creation. His
clothing is His humanity.

His seed of flesh was prepared for Him ~ His humanity came from the womans
seed and not the sperm of man because death reigns through sin through the seed of
man ~ his sperm.

Hebrews 10:5 says that God prepared the Covenant Son a body. The Greek word used
for prepared in that text has the meaning to set in order, constitute ~ establish,
institute.

His body of flesh and bone and blood was prepared specifically in the womb of
the virgin from the preexisting life of her seed flesh ~ prepared with design for the
purpose of Sacrifice.

Thus, there was no desecrating of the seed of flesh of the Covenant Son with the
sperm of man - that carries with it the sentence of death. The result of the virgins
conception of the Holy Spirit coming upon her and the power of the Highest
overshadowing her was that the Holy thing born of her would be the Son of God (Luke
1:35).

Next, we must ask ourselves ~ selves, what does it mean death reigns?

Death reigns:
First, we must understand that there is a difference between dead and death.
Dead is what the body is ~ in trespasses and sins (Romans 8:10). Death, has the
privileges and rights concerning the body, to destroy the body, to the perishing of the
soul of spirit life as the result of sin.

Because man is lawless in his being ~ at enmity with God; man is a transgressor
of trespasses and sins. Thus because of sin, the body is dead, and death has the
supremacy of rule over the body.

The seed of flesh is a temporal covering without Eternal life. Therefore, the body
of flesh ~ the mortal body is consigned to be sown in corruption (1 Corinthians 15:42) to
dissolve back to the elements of which it was built, the dust of the ground.

Corruption of the Body:

Corruption of the body, unlike the corruption of character, just means a change in
the elements. In other words, the seed flesh body will corrupt and dissolve back to the
elements of which it was built, the dust of the ground.

But the dissolving of the seed flesh body back to the elements of which it was
built, is not the problem, it is a mortal body and was designed by God to do that.

Eternal life and sin:

However, because the body is dead because of sin, death has the privilege to
destroy the body. Traditional thinking puts the emphasis on sin as being the reason
the body dies.

No, the seed was designed mortal ~ earthly, temporal. It is not meant as a
permanent residence for the personal being ~ that is why man is seen of God as naked,
meaning he is unclothed without a permanent garment of Eternal life covering him
(Genesis 2:25; 3:10; 2 Corinthians 5:1-4).

The body of seed was always consigned to be sown in corruption to dissolve

back to the elements of which it was built. The issue is the Seed of Eternal life. Man
needs Eternal life for the body. Thus, the nakedness of the temporary covering, will
serve as a teaching truth for the man.

The Wisdom of God:

Lets look at the wisdom of God to bypass the claim of death to destroy the body
in the use of the seed of the woman.

The literal Hebrew of Psalm 22:9 reads, You are My Taker from the womb
referring to living cells of flesh the living cells of flesh is from the seed ~ the body of
the virgin.
The Wisdom of God took the living cells of flesh of the womb of the woman and
prepared a body ~ in the likeness of man.

Took; burst forth, a proper noun derived from a root signifying to burst forth or
draw forth and hence has the meaning of the Gusher or Bubbler.

Out of; it is used of material out of which something is made.

Womb; in the Hebrew denotes the lower abdomen. As such it can refer to a
womans womb or to the stomach or be used in a figurative sense to express mans
physical nature ~ his humanity ~ his seed.

Just as God built the woman from the seed of the man without the use of sperm
and brought her to the man (Genesis 2:21-23), likewise God prepared the seed coat of
flesh for His Son because death must have no claim on the body through sin.
Thus, God took out of the womb of the seed of the woman ~ took from her seed
~ living cells and caused to burst forth the Gusher or Bubbler of Eternal life.

The prepared seed coat of Jesus had to be fully mans physical nature ~ his
humanity, his seed ~ sin apart. God had to have a physical seed of humanity in order
that He might share with that Seed raised ~ Eternal life.

Man is made in the image of God ~ a material, visible seed, so the body
prepared for the Covenant Son must be made of the same material ~ flesh and bone
and blood.

Though the seed body of flesh of the Holy One was mortal ~ flesh and bone and
blood, death would have no claim on His body.

Holy and harmless, God is other than His creation ~ He is separate from sinners.
In Him was no sin. God is not lawless. Jesus, very God in essence did no sin and knew
no sin. He was made sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in
Him (2 Corinthians 5:21; see also Hebrews 7:26).

Nor would the body of the Son of the Covenant suffer corruption, He had His
Fathers promise on the matter. Thou will not leave my soul in hell, neither will thou
suffer thine Holy One to see corruption (Acts 2:27; Psalm 16:10).

Thus, the birthed Son of God raised out from the dead was raised the First
Begotten Son of God of the many sons of God to be born again of Gods Seed Christ.

Jesus is Man in the image of God, after His likeness:

Jesus is the first begotten Man in Gods image, after His likeness. Christ Jesus is
the first fruits of sons of God (1Corinthians 15:20-23). Thus God has accomplished that
which He set out to do ~ He has Man in His image, after His likeness.

In the seed of the woman, God made a way for the righteousness of His law of
love to be fulfilled in His creation of man in the flesh. Man must believe in the glory of
the Son of the Covenant ~ believe that Jesus is God come in the flesh.

In this way ~ by faith believing ~ God would have born again sons of God
sharing His image. Each person born in a body of human flesh of the seed of man
would be offered the hope of Eternal life through a new birth of the incorruptible Seed ~
a flesh and bone body of Eternal life (1 Peter 1:23).

In order to give man an exodus out of the creation of human flesh and an
entrance into the presence of God ~ as a born son of God, Jesus had to come in a body
prepared for Him.

If Jesus had not taken a mortal body ~ nor taken that seed flesh into death, the
Eternal life for the deathless body would not have been released. The life of the seed
flesh for humanity is in the blood. Leviticus 17:11, For the life of the flesh is in the
blood.

By the shed blood of His mortal body, Jesus gave man the Seed of Eternal life
for the birth of a new creation ~ a body Eternal ~ a body of flesh and bone and spirit life.

The Begotten Son did not create a body of Eternal life and He does not
reproduce Eternal life. He shares Himself - He is Life Eternal.

This concludes our lesson. In the next lesson we will take a look at the man Abraham
from whom the Seed Christ would come and learn of the truths figured in Gods Eternal
Covenant in the heavenly revelation taught to him by the LORD.
