patients at home. She specializes in personal care, medication, geriatric and Alzheimer patients. Ms.
Sowell is affiliated with the Alzheimer's Association and the N.A.L.P.N. She was recognized as a 110
Industry Expert, honored by the Charlotte Observer for Nurses Week and rated as a Top Nurse in her
area.

Ms. Sowell obtained a L.P.N. from Central Piedmont Community College and received her nursing
degree from Carolina Medical College in 1972. She attributes her success to her faith in God and her
parents. She grew up as a sickly child and found her calling to be a nurse through the great care that she
received from her nurses. In her spare time she enjoys travel and people.
