The project is the second stage of the overall house improvement, following bathroom

a. A high level project description and boundaries
It was recognized by the client that the existing kitchen layout and appliances are not
satisfactory. A new kitchen with optimized functionality and more appealing look is
desirable. More kitchen space is desired so that the whole family can do some
cooking together. The new layout is desired to be open for a better flow into the
dining space. The electricity switchboard needs replacing to accommodate new
appliances. The budget for the project is from the clients savings. The cost is not to
exceed $50,000. This included gutting the existing fixtures and appliances, disposal of
the replaced fixtures and appliance, kitchen design fee, replacement of switchboard
,new appliances and fixtures purchase and installation fee.

The project is to be completed within 4 months after the contract is signed by the
client. The budget of $50,000 excluded any cost incurred in establishing and
maintaining alternate cooking facility whilst the renovation is underway. We can
suggest alternate cooking solutions to client but it is up to the client to decide and
implement at his own cost.
