What God Rewards


"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the
things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad"
(2 Corinthians 5:10).

A lways, I pray to God to guide my heart in His Word and help me please Him
more. This is what you should be most concerned with as a Christian: how to
please God and ensure your heart goes after Him.
Im not talking about the works of righteousness because if youre a Christian then
youre expected to produce works of righteousness. God wouldnt reward you for
doing right; youre supposed to do right. What you are rewarded for is the impact you
made in the lives of others and for the life that you lived toward God in your love for
Jesus Christ.
God rewards us for our commitment to soul-winning, our giving for the advancement
of the Kingdom work, and for every sacrifice of our time, talent and energy to move the
gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ forward. The Bible says, And they that be wise shall shine
as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for
ever and ever. (Daniel 12:3).
I share this truth with you because I want you to be conscious of the end of all things.
You can decide now the type of reward you want to receive from God; you can
determine it. Just as a builder can determine the quality of the house he wants to build
right from the beginning, even before he starts.
You must make up your mind to be a blesser of lives; you must touch lives with the
gospel of the Lord Jesus.
