From the pains of hell,
That You would be pleased to have mercy on those whom no special remembrance is made on
earth,
That You would be pleased to grant them all the pardon and remission of their sins,
That You would be pleased to fulfill all their desires,
That You would be pleased to receive them into the company of the blessed,
King of awesome Majesty,
Son of God,
Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world,

ALL: O GOD, Whose property it is ever to have mercy and to spare, we beseech Thee on behalf of the
soul of Thy servant _______, Whom You have called out of this world; that You would not deliver
him/her into the hands of Your enemy or forget him/her forever, but bid the holy angels to lead him/her
into Paradise his/her true country so that for as much as in You he/she will not endure the pains of hell,

Let us pray:
O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all faithful, grant unto the soul of Your servant _______
the remission of all his/her sins; so that through pious supplication, he/she may obtain the
pardon which he/she has always desired. Grant this, O God, Who lives and reigns for ever and
ever. Amen.
Eternal rest grant unto him/her, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon him/her.
May he/she and the souls of all departed legionaries and the souls of all faithful departed
through the mercy of God rest in peace.
