meet the application criteria below may apply for admission to undergraduate programs at Boazii
University on the condition that they have graduated or expect to graduate from a high-school
before the semester to which they wish to apply.

TRNC citizens who have completed their secondary education in a non-GCE AL system

Turkish citizens by birth who have renounced their Turkish citizenship by permission of
the Ministry of Interior
Turkish citizens, whose parents have renounced their citizenship and are named in the
renunciation of their parents, but have a permit allowing them the rights of a Turkish
citizen.
Turkish citizens who attended secondary school abroad before 1 February 2013, and
completed the last three years of their secondary education abroad in a country other
than the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus
Turkish citizens who have completed their whole secondary education in a Turkish
institution established abroad by the Turkish Ministry of Education, with the exception
of those in TRNC
Turkish citizens who started their secondary education abroad after 1 February 2013
who will have completed their entire high school education abroad. This includes
students who have completed their whole secondary education in Turkish institutions
established abroad by the Turkish Ministry of Education in a country other than TRNC

The period for applications for the 2017-2018 academic year is 10-14 July 2017

Please note: International students may apply only for the full academic year. Applications for

The application fee must be paid in person or by bank wire. The
university does not accept credit cards or payment by PayPal. The
application fee is non-refundable.
 STANDARDIZED TEST RESULTS

Candidates for the undergraduate programs must submit their scores from the SAT
(Scholastic Aptitude Test) in the areas of math and reading.

The SAT score card is valid for two years and may be used to apply to up to three
departments or programs. Boazii University does not administer this test. For more

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

The medium of instruction at Boazii University is English. All applicants must submit
documentation proving proficiency in English. The Boazii University Senate recognizes the

Bogazici University does not offer scholarships or financial aid to international
students.

ACCOMMODATION

Degree-seeking students may apply individually to the Superdorm, which is

independently operated, or to any other dormitory on campus, via the
Dormitories Management Office.

Accommodation in apartment units

(Uaksavar Dorm, First Kilyos Dorm, Third and Fourth North Dorm, and the
Superdorm):

These are small apartment units with 2 or more bedrooms, a small kitchen,
bathroom and toilet. Each unit is equipped with Internet and telephone
connection, beds, closets, chairs, bookshelves and refrigerators; hot water is
available in the bathrooms.

The Fourth North Dorm is exclusively for the graduate students.

(Mens Dorm, Womens Dorm, 2nd Kilyos Dorm, 1st and 2nd North Dorms)

The number of students accommodated in each unit. Each room has

Internet and telephone connection, bunk beds, closets, tables, chairs,
bookshelves and a refrigerator. Bathroom and toilet facilities are shared;
hot water is available in all bathrooms.
