In the name of Allh the Beneficent, the Merciful.

allhummasalli'almuhammadinwalimuhammadin
O Allh, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

illahiadhumalbalaa
My Allh, irretrievable is our plight,

wabarihalkhafaa
our helplessness causes pain and trouble,

wankashafalghiaa
(now our) urgency has been laid bare (before Thee),

wanqaarrajaa
(all) hopes have been cut off,

wadhaqatilardhuwamuniatissamaa
the earth has shrunk for us, the heavenly blessings have been withheld,

waantalmustaanuwailaykalmushtaka
we call upon Thee for help, we refer our grief and sorrow to Thee,



waalaykalmuawalufeeshiddatiwarrakhaa
we have full faith in Thee, in the time of distress as well as in good fortune.

AllhumasaliialaaMuhammadiwnwaaliMuhammad
O Allh, send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad,

oolilamrilladhinafaradhtaalaynataatahum
whom we must obey as per Your command,

waarraftanabidhalikamanzilatahum
through which we become aware of their rank and status

fafarrijannabihakkihimfarajanaajilan
and let there be joy after sorrow for us, for their sake, right away,

qareebankalamihilbasariauhuwaaqrab
in the twinkle of an eye, more rapidly than that.

yaMuhammadu,yaAliyu,yaAliyu,yaMuhammad
O Muhammad, O AIi, O Ali, O Muhammad,

ikfiyaanifainakumakaafiyaani
Give me enough, because both of you provide sufficiently,

wansuraaneefainakumanaasiraani
and help me, because both of you help and protect.
